Some harsh comments on Crichlow in my opinion he took a knock in the first half against a pretty physical forward line. He never dodges a challenge and uses the ball well. Not his best second half and probably should have been taken off earlier with the knock he took

Don’t underestimate him he is a prat but he knows how to get results as we often find out

My thoughts entirely Inspector, I've been saying this for the past three games or so, RC is starting to show flaws in his game.
This is why we have cover for all positions, for when players start losing that edge.
    Odusina in on Saturday, please.

I know. That’s what makes it even worse.
He constantly gets players to give their all for him.
I’m racking my brain to remember when we beat one of his sides.

I would be loathe to change a tried and tested defence but if Crichlow is injured I am sure it will be Songo’o who replaces him he is very unlucky not to be playing

A very enjoyable away trip for a Tuesday night. Several very good performances. Cook, Platt, Foulds, Gilliead, Halliday, Smallwood and Wright all did well.

Gilliead had a very good first half. Young and Periera were arguably the weakest, neither got into the game and we immediately looked better when Wright came on. Need to start creating from elsewhere though as Cook cannot keep that level of finishing up. He's scoring off nearly every chance he gets.

He is in magnificent form at the moment. Marvellous to watch. A proper centre forward.

I think Pereira took a bit of a knock. Surprised he didn't come off sooner. Young was outmuscled by their right sided defender almost every time. He was given no time or space to run towards goal.

Anyone know what the Attendance was at the match? Seemed to be acres of blue seats in the Tranmere sections of the ground. Had a look at various sources but cannot locate it.

Right I'll admit it. I think Halliday has been distinctly ordinary so far, but he looked good last night, especially first half. He got outmuscled a couple of times second half, but so did everyone else. Big credit to Hughes for the substitutions. We were under the cosh but bringing on Wright and Sutton steadied the ship and brought us back into the game.

They looked a very physical side. Refs are not giving much anymore so I think the lads need to bite back a bit. Overall a good performance. They are not bad at home Tranmere. Last season we would have lost that game. Onwards. I am actually enjoying watching again.

Yet they got all the free kicks especially in the first half for nothing touches from what I saw..
