There are those who genuinely believe it's not possible for a white person to be a victim of racism.

I'm sick of the whole thing. Identity politics and the move from equality of opportunity to equality of outcome is doing nothing but polarise people and stir hatred. I despair at the narrative.

And the way that identity politics is now being pushed in the workplace worries me greatly.

Well in an interesting turn of events, according to Curry he'd also been the victim of the same abuse from the same player in the autumn test of 2022. So now we have two possible clear scenarios. That Tom Curry is a born liar trying to accuse an innocent man of a crime or that World Rugby has done a cover up. Why they would do that is open to debate but worryingly Curry has been castigated by a big section of social media not just after the decision by World Rugby but also before it. A bit like the grooming gang scandal, it seems you are strongly discouraged from making a complaint unless it fits a certain narrative to a point where your life will be made hell.
Theres a bigger story at play here.

Or a 3rd option - if you're a white male, the bar is so high as to qualify any allegation of having been prejudiced, so no one sees any wrongdoing.

I've seen first hand in my business, how at the highest level, 'positive discrimination' is a force for good. And having challenged some of that narrative quite gently, I was left with a very clear sense that challenging it more strongly would have a very clear ending for me personally.

    These are dark times.

Those experiences back up my thoughts all along regarding this whole racism 'industry'. What starts off with good intentions attacking rampant racism in the 70s and 80s is now merely a cash cow that needs feeding, but only with food that's fits a certain narrative that cannot be questioned. This has now spawned into other areas such as gay rights, where gay people now find their rainbow flag ( always got to have a flag for your movement) being hijacked by other causes.
I'm glad I watch from afar with my never ending bag of popcorn, cos it's all gonna go tits up massively down the line.

In my opinion, there'll never be a positive outcome by shifting from seeing things like colur, race, religion, sexuality as an irrelevance anyone other than the individual. But we've shifted to a narrative that places those characteristics as paramount. Group identity politics ends in death. Literally. History offers the lesson but we keep going round the same circle.

You can find examples of this pretty much every day. Even today we have Garnacho now being investigated by the football authorities for sending Onana messages using the gorilla emoji. To put some context, the keeper Onana has said there was no offence in the messages between the two team mates but that just doesn't fit the agenda driven world. So now apparently they're.goimg ask Garnacho what he meant by sending the emoji, so now having to justify what according to Onana something that had no offence tied to it. It's madness, utter madness and if you can see where my whole problem with the whole take on racism, which I know you can, it will only get worse.

Yep. And a great example of the complete hypocrisy of what happens when there's a role reversal element of the Tom Curry situation. When its the white person on the end of an allegation, it doesn't even matter if the person on the 'receiving end' makes clear there was no ill intent and all is well, when that person is black. There's a rush to take offence on behalf of, and virtue signal.

The whole thing stinks, it really does.
