If that was the case then why wouldn’t they just say you need 1450 points to get a ticket?
All 900 would be guaranteed a ticket so no need for a second selling window. Any remaining tickets just go to first come first served standard season ticket holder.

Maybe the southern based fans should get 10 points for an away game and 20 for a home game. The reverse of what local based fans get?

I am sure if the roles were reversed we would certainly sell the Bradford end to City fans.
You would want as many of your own supporters as possible for a crunch match.
Northamptons crowds aren't great but it will be full for this game.

Yet another reason to get out of this god awful league ............. I know the league fixtures are random but surly something should be in place to ensure that we get an away game that can accommodate such a big following ........... and you can say the same the same about the Easter fixtures ........... how come for decades during the ye olden days they could make sure that you was local but now they can’t ?????
Crawley A ......... Sutton H .......... is it such a big deal for the powers that be to actually change these fixtures in times of real hardship ????

Spare a thought for us Bantams living overseas who on one hand get to watch every home + away game via iFollow, but on the other can’t gather any points for games when you might be back in the UK.

Fortunately got a ticket for this one via a friend whose family member plays for the Cobblers. That said I’ll have to be sat on my hands, tight lipped all game….

The loyalty system is working as intended in my opinion. It won't please all and some superfans will miss out now and again, but at least you won't waste money on a coach with no chance of tickets....

Got to agree. I will miss out as I don’t have enough Loyalty Points. The fiasco with Chelsea tickets still rankles, but the current system seems fair to me.
I will be at Rochdale on Saturday and the last away game of the season at Crewe, the latter perhaps more important than the Northampton game. At least I won’t be tempted to visit C&J’s . ;)

To be fair, i've been to the majority of away games this season, and from my recollection we've not sold out any game (thus far) within 80/90 miles of VP....

Leyton Orient sold out but I suspect Mansfield would be the furthest otherwise

To ease the pressure on the ticket office and website especially for games that were higher allocations like Doncaster. Also it give people a guide as to where they are in the order like anyone on 1600 points knows they are in the top 400-500.

Do you think 2000 is top 10?

No, I think you would need to be around 2,200 for that. There's a hardcore that go to every match (probably 50 or so).

Unless City reset the start date, what we will see, over the next few years, are the number of points spread out; I think we are already seeing that a bit.

Best option is to keep points totals and accrue for another full season and then remove this seasons points.
That will ensure that it’s always the current fans who benefit and not fans from previous seasons

They can buy tickets in the home sections surely?
They certainly won’t have a Bradford postcode !
