960 maximum allocation, the last Saturday away game of the regular season. I'd expect this to be sold out be Friday AM at the latest?

You’ll be fine for a ticket but my lads on exact same points as you so totally agree regards the points margin . Am in the first bracket . If they have say a 1,000 tickets why not just say how many is in each category so people no weather they’ll he ok to do it the one transaction . I like the points system but It does need improvement

I hear what you are saying, the points system has worked for me for pretty much all season, unfortunately I am now on 1630 and my 17 year old (who I don't ever go without) only has 1570 points :x3:. Having checked through my purchase history, we have been allocated 20 points for every away game we have been to (we have done most games this season). So the fault clearly lies with the scanning of his ST card at the VP turnstiles. Very frustrating but it is what is is I suppose

I like it in principle and if 960 people have been to more games / accrued more points than me then all good, they’ve done the hard yards (I’ve been to probably two thirds away games including some of the long trips).
It may be that 1450 is the number where the cut off means everyone above that gets a ticket. Fingers crossed….

I noticed that Northampton haven't actually released the sale of the 3 blocks in the East Stand for sale to home fans as yet. I know they say this is all we will be allocated but is there any reason for them to be holding them back if there is no intention to sell them to away fans?

Yes, I've been keeping an eye on those blocks. My best guess is that they think they will need them but, if they don't sell out the rest of the ground, they could change their minds and offer them back to us. I wouldn't count on it though, sales in the rest of the ground are progressing reasonably well.

I think the points system is working but I agree there should be some clarity on how many tickets are made available in each bracket.
My guess is that the whole idea of the brackets is to guarantee anyone in that bracket a purchasing window so I’m thinking that must mean we have 900 fans with over 1600 points.
This is another reason why away seats should be unreserved, so that fans buying in different stages can sit together.

To me it seems we have 900 fans over 1450 points. As no one in the later bracket has seen no tickets available to them. Infact every single game, even Harrogate has fallen to Season Ticket holders even if it was only a handful of tickets.

Rightly or wrongly, that seems to be how it works.

The club mentioned early on that the bottom bracket is set to the number of tickets available so 1450 will be the top 900ish points holders. Because of this it's almost guaranteed that some will go on sale to season ticket holders as not all points holders will get a ticket. If you are you band A&B or C&D it doesn't really make a difference other than waiting 24 hours to get a ticket.

Just bought mine - I have 1630 points.

I can't complain about the points system because I've done alright by it. But I do feel a bit sorry for those southern-based Bantams fans who, for obvious reasons, don't have a ST and only attend the southern away games and the occasional home game. Even if they've been to all the southern games they'll have no chance whatsoever of getting a ticket for this, likely the most dramatic/important southern game of the season (potential playoffs excluded, of course).

In the most part the southern based fans will be going to games such as Swindon, Gillingham, etc where there is absolutely no requirement for tickets.

As it stand the most important game is the next, then the one after. Lose Rochdale and Swindon and the Northampton game starts to become more meaningless. Win the next two and Northampton becomes the gold ticket till the next game.

If we are securing an automatic spot this season, it will be on the final day. This fight for all clubs is going down to the final day. It really is getting to a stage where whoever finds themselves in the playoffs won't actually want to be there with 7 teams fighting out for 2 automatic spots and 1 not even getting a second chance in the play-offs.

Difficult to be precise but the numbers of those blocks have seats from 138-200 so theoretically 62 per row. There seem to be 8 rows, with an additional one with some disabled/carer seats. However I think there will be at least one access tunnel so that will reduce the number of seats. So just short of 500 in theory, but possibly around 40 lost to an entrance/exit tunnel. Dedicating those three blocks to City supporters could generate around £8,500-9,000 for them.

That secition is around 450 season, other teams like Orient and Swindon were given it earlier this season but they've now stopped giving it to away fans. They most likely think that if it is a possible promotion winning game they will sell out like they did against Stevenage and it's the last home game which teams tend to get higher attendances for as well. Also if they had more away fans it could add on the policing bill.

This one is close to me as a southerner, probably won’t be able to get a ticket which is annoying but am tempted to go sit at the top of that hill if I can’t…
