The Pitch…..what can be done about it?

I very very much doubt there will be any penalties. The club surely has Tv evidence of the almost overnight collapse of the surface conditions because of pretty freeky weather and fixtures?

Maybe a “warning” Rod?

That is a long-term issue or hinderence in itself.

If the club is successful and regularly make playoff appearances then the downside is we have to put up with playing on paddy field the following season because we haven't had time to fix the pitch?

Surely there has to be a time where the cycle of repair is stopped.

Let's say we made the play offs on Saturday and had to delay any works that needed doing, can you imagine the state of it December without a proper time scale of recovery and remediation done to it

 

To many “ ifs” for me. I’m merely stating we have more time than last close season .

 

I’m pretty sure that is what we did previously. And that was supposed to have a 10 year warranty with it! Someone at the top doesn’t have any balls to challenge the previous contractors unfortunately

 

I'm sure we get an audit and follow the suggestions of STRI every year.
