    The lease on the ground goes up to circa £475k next year.

    Obviously it's much more likely that he will just lose all of his investment without at least trying to get the club back into the league or trying to sell it to recoup some of his losses

    OK so how can the rent rise by so much? I guess that was negotiated and agreed upon? Seems rather harsh rise on the current rate of circa £350K ish?

    If the amount is correct the lease probably rises every X years by a set amount.

    That was that amount when taken out, The rent increased every 5 years by at least inflation or around 3.5% per annum, The next increase will take the rent to over 500k a year
