Your previous unshakeable optimism has always brought a smile to my face. But if you think we would get crowds of 10000 if we get relegated then I am sorry you have lost it completely. I would even go as far as to say if we stay up we won't get 10k crowds next season.

What, so they realise they need to sack him?

Shaun Harvey got £500k a year at the EFL, even if David Baldwin got half that at the EFL he’s out of City’s league. Unless he’s coming in as part of a consortium buying the club, forget it.

I’m just estimating based on previous experiences when we have been in this position, I don’t think anyone of us can predict accurately what the attendance will be, time will tell if we are relegated. D:

How have I lost it ahaha? That estimate isn’t me trying to be an optimist, I just remember reading official attendances at the club being 12000 last time we were in this struggle in League 2? Maybe I’m wrong I don’t know but I was literally just making an estimation, I don’t think it’s fair to say ‘I’ve lost it’ I’m just merely estimating what I think we could see in the National League, plus Bradford is a big city with a loyal fanbase.

If you read my other posts this season and my threads you’ll see I’m not at all optimistic at the moment, I think this club is in trouble and I foresee relegation if things aren’t changed quickly.

The highest average attendance in the National League in the past 10 years was Bristol Rovers in 2014, with 8,400 and interestingly they are only averaging 8,900 now (and for last few seasons). In most other seasons the highest non league average has been between 5,500 - 6,000. Luton being one of these averaging around 5,500 and now averaging just short of 10,000 when they were promoted from L1 and 8,000 in the Championship last season.

I suspect allot would depend on whether we continue with the cheap ST's although I think it is only logical to expect some kind of drop - albeit looking at that maybe not as much as I was expecting.

I personally do not want to take that chance though and I hope the penny will drop in the near future and the tough (not so in my eyes) decision can and will be made.

Pay your money and take your choice. Assuming Sparks is on £50k then Baldwin would be worth at least 10 times that.

Here you go. Full average attendance back to the Premiership days. The right hand column is the season figure. The figures in 2011/12 & 2012/2013 were just over 10,000, so significantly lower.

I would guess a lot of Season Ticket holders may not renew and possibly decide which games they wanted to go to on a pay on the day basis. Clearly if City were in with a shout of promotion, then attendances could increase, but if we were not in such a position, then the number attending would I guess be very low.

Ah that’s really helpful buddy thank you, judging by our attendances I dare say we’d get less than 10,000 then.

Offt Imagine VP with only a few thousand fans, wouldn’t be a great atmosphere. D:

You don't need to imagine it, just go to an early round League cup or group stage jackmeoff cup match and judge it for yourself.

I admire you for getting real in terms of Bradford City recently but honestly when it comes to our fan base I would say its about 8k top end. Now I would say it 5- 6k top end.

The club is losing loyal supporters everyday with the stupid decisions its making.

Why should people care about Bradford City with the club is highlighting it doesn't care about having ambition?

    Ahaha I’m sorry.

I honestly have to agree and thank you. :) I dare say we’ll hear a pin drop at Valley Parade next season if Stuart McCall is still manager even if we survive the drop. If we could go back to matches now I would find it hard to drag myself over from Belfast if truth be told. I love the club but I think it’s time for fans to show that we want ambition and progress.

Supported city since I was ten, thirty two years later thought seen it all. But the one thing not seen is us in non league and it's scary. Waiting till January with someone who unfortunately I have lost faith in steering ship. Going to need promotion form to get us out as be cast a drift by then. We will be the biggest league side to fall into the conference of all time...... Unless anyone can think of others

    Notts County, Luton Town.
Luton’s history in the last 50 years would certainly make them a bigger name than us winning the league cup and finishing in the top ten of the top tier.

As a manager ever survived a run of 8 losses out of 10 whilst leading his club in to the relegation spots in any division??

    McCall out

There is only one implication of relegation and that's administration, possibly even liquidation.

You and I both know that we aren't all other clubs. For a start there is £375,000 rent to pay on a stadium that would be useless in the Conference. Secondly, no other relegated club has a 12 year old CEO.

Why do people keep insisting that we would go bust? Rupp would lose most if not all of his investment if that was to happen.
He might sell us to get out of it but he wouldn't just wipe 4 or 5 million of his money away by putting us in administration.
