Mcall is a very poor manager - the sooner the Mcall love in dies the better - I agree with @Fordy117 we are so poorly run and backwards thinking it’s incredible. Poor signings and poor management.

First time I've seen Harrogate in action and I was very impressed. Best team we have come up against in the league so far and the only team to have out played us - pretty much from start to finish!

They were fortunate with the penalty call in my opinion but had it been given and we converted it for the draw it would have been harsh on the balance of play.

We didn't cope with their high press at all. Harrogate have a clear plan with a number of technically good players and it shows they have progressed together. The understanding they had between each other was excellent.

A lot more work to be done with our lot but I'm not panicking like some on here!

 

Watching us so far this season I would say the humiliation is only just starting

 

McCall has done nothing on his return and that shambles tells me all I need to know about why He is NOT the guy to take BCFC forward.

Its like Harrogate hadn't been watched in their previous games, which i know they had. They like to attack and use their fullbacks as part of this yet we for some unknown reason went with a diamond. To achieve what exactly? All it did was give a very passing sides fullbacks the space to go forward unopposed and left our fullbacks exposed. It also meant our fullbacks would struggle to get forward to aid our attack, yet its something he then mentions in the post match presser, that our full backs didnt get forward to supply crosses. Thats because of your bloody line up. No wonder Clarke looked frustrated when he came off, he was also hung out to dry by a manager allowing afreeflowing team the space they craved.

Massive improvement required on Saturday, i'm guessing another formation is on the cards.

 

We are the poorest Yorkshire club in the football league happy days boys happy days.. Stead has been gone nearly three years and he made our forrards look poo baba wooo….

 

Slow learner is our Stuart, and we all suffer for it.
He needs to fit in all his mates and then find something that will work.

He had to see yesterday we needed to push our back 4 up 5 yards or even 10 yards at times and pin them in to not allow them to get the ball out wide as easily. We could have really stifled them.
At half time gone 4-4-2 flat, brought Evans off for Pritchard and moved Sutton out right. Cooke on for Clarke. We were still well in the game at 0-0 Come out of there with a not pretty 1-0 but it’s a win and we’d have moved on.
Instead we spent the second half worrying still about the opposition and not getting anywhere
