I think what i'd like to hear now are what are our plans if we do get relegated? Are we going to be safe? Does Rupp still want to be here?

 

I get why people aren't fond of Hopkin at the min but basically he's been dealt a crap hand and the buck for this season rests with that shithouse Rahic for me. Sacking Hopkin won't change a thing at this stage we have players that have rotten attitudes and need to be got rid of.

I can't see Rupp letting us go into admin but I would think he wants out. let's hope he's a man of his word though and wants to put it right.

 

I am not convinced we can achieve 17 Points from our remaining 12 fixtures. I believe Wimbledon will survive and they are bottom.

Sadly in my opinion League 2 football is now inevitable. I have remained positive for as long as I can but Walsall today was a must win for me and now to think we can survive the drop is bordering on stupidity.

We are now simply relying on other teams not performing, but if you are still undecided here are our remaining fixtures (I have added their last 3 league results FYI):

I believe at the most we could only collect 12 points from the above. With 33 points now this would leave us with 45 points. Not enough. Far two many other teams want it more than our players unfortunately. I hope I am wrong but time will tell.

With this said let's all get behind Hopkin and the players and fight till the bitter end for survival. Sing louder, clap longer and let's all pull together.

I'm not going to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do. If you want to keep going and cheering then fair play. Good luck to you. Genuinely. But I'm done. This lot are gutless, spineless. They have no heart or character and most don't look like they give a shit. I'm sick of watching us throw away games like yesterday because we don't want to do the basics right. If I saw a bit of bottle then I'd keep going. But I don't. This lot don't deserve the time, money and effort of our supporters when they can't be arsed themselves.

'The players were having a go at each other in the dressing room after the game'. Were they? How nice. I'd rather they just win headers and stop crosses, and play with a bit of intensity and desire in our biggest game of the season so far. But hey ho.

 

I don't know if you have noticed but we have been in need this season since August.. Supporters getting behind the team does not seem to work with this team if they aren't taking notice of the manager what chance is there of those same players listening to supporters.

But they need to give something back before I’d get behind them at the minute. I just go to watch at the minute of a Saturday afternoon and use it to shout at a load of overpaid shite

 

I think that sums up how most of us feel.

With the team we had in 97 that survived just at the end of the season there was a ton of fight and the fans were 100% behind it. Similarly when Parky had his team at the arse end of league 2, we could see some heart. This team doesn't have that heart. They've defended and battled like fairies all season long.

 

Parky knew how to survive and get enough points, He brought in 2 big bruising no nonsense centre backs, a quick winger and a tough combative midfielder who strengthened the team and brought fight in to the team, Hopkin needing the same brought in more of the lightweight players we already had, He has to go for the sake of the club

 

Really think we need to go 4-4-2 get rid of O’Connor at the back put mellor at back as I think is a lot better put O’Brien on left Payne on right Doyle and ball up front

Great suggestion, loads on here that don't like him but at least he has fight passion and desire, something which we don't have. A mentality that is definitely needed in a relegation battle. Just saying.

 

BIG FAT NO literally..

 

Paul Hurst and Gary Bowyer are out of work, the latter of whom had a league 2 promotion with Blackpool only two years ago. And maybe an out there one but Mark Robbins at Coventry? Done a great job under terrible circumstances there and like Bowyer has a recent league 2 promotion. When Coventry are in further trouble in the summer I'm sure we could lure him in.
