Woodhouse Grove's facilities are great.

It is probably the most scenic training ground in the country. The schedules are sorted out so that there shouldn't be clashes, and I doubt the players are forced to eat school dinners, and even if they were I understand the food at Woodhouse is pretty darned good.

We are NOT a Chelsea or Real Madrid and our players should be buzzing to train at such a lovely facility. I don't remember Parky or McCall moaning.

 

Conversely ......... That same line of thought could be transposed into the 'Playing side' too ?

Yes the playing side have been worse...............I wonder If @Glenn Ackroyd and @wetherbywhaler can don their tracksuits and help out on the training pitch.

Exactly my point. So why shouldn't he comment on our inferior facilities ? They're comments, NOT condemnation.

 

this in itsself is a little condescending towards Warnock....so because he was succesful as a player it means he doesn't know anything about what training facilities and such like are or should be like lower down the tree?


you haven't trained for any teams in the EFL ever, so if he can't comment then technically neither can you.

 

No but the people responsible for it can like Wetherby whaler who is in a far better position than Warnock. Who by the way I like as a player and a bloke. I think his judgment on our facilities have been clouded by one of the worst periods of weather for a long time making some of the pitches unplayable and therefore more need for the gym

 

Given that Warnock will have used those facilities every day for 6 months last season, I don't know if Roger, who, with all due respect might have helped draw up the agreement but probably isn't there using the facilities on a daily basis is indeed in a 'far better position' to comment.

That is a disadvantage WG has being beside a river. The beast from the east and subsequent one were bad storms I believe Grayson said the pitches were out of use for six weeks
