    Just my opinion, but aren't we overrating Caddis. Sure he stood out initially in a very poor team but towards the end of his time here he was very ordinary at best

    Exactly my team.

    Didn't want to pick loanees, but Cullen was here two seasons and Pickford was class in the end

    Reece Burke has to be in, when was the last time we saw a ball playing centre half as good as him, probably Dean Richards.

    I agree.

    I first tried to assemble a team without any loanees but quickly came to the conclusion that without Burke, Cullen etc it just couldn't be the best possible team over the last decade. Putting emotion to one side and avoiding getting misty eyed, sticking to one of my principles that a couple of past regulars just didn't pass muster I came up with a team which included a max of 5 loanees per the EFLs matchday limit!

    Probably something along these lines. G.Thompson very underrated. McMahon gets nod over Darby for his set-pieces and WUM ability! No question about the front two.

    I'd have Peter Thorne in there, but can't remember years top of my head.

    No love For Nathan Doyle? I didn't really wanna pick loanees for team of the decade but the likes of Burke and Pickford really stood out. Billy Knott for his cracker V Leeds aswell :p

    Only tricky positions were out wide and in net for me. Harsh to not include Reid, Thompson or Steady up front but Hanson’s goal at Villa Park seals it for him.
