The reality is that Rupp cannot prove his version of events because it's impossible for him to prove that he hasn't had a phone call, e-mail, zoom or face to face meeting so today's public statement is probably as much as he can give to fans to show that his side of the story is the truth. It took Wagmi less than an hour to respond to Rupp's initial statement and it should be very easy for them to prove their version of events because they'll obviously have all the corespondence etc but unfortunately they're not moving as quickly to set the record straight this time so we'll just have to be patient...

A slight understatement there. Being openly and publicly called a liar is a bit more than having hurt feelings. In fact I would say what WAGMI said in their statement is bordering on libel if you take the literal meaning of libel.eg a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.

Don't forget Rupp has other business interests and news travels fast on t'interweb. I too would be looking for redress in this matter forming at least a public apology.

True, but don't assume that the absence of any further action infers guilt on either party. These kinds of things often just evaporate and are not heard of again.

If you're asserting that something didn't happen not being able to offer proof as to whether it did happen or not would seem preferential in my eyes.

“ takeover” . Is it all wishful thinking, smoke and mirrors pub talk ?
