One embarrassing episode after another. Bradford City is a joke on and off the field and the sooner this shambles of a season is over the better.

 

Elon Musk is quite happy to insult people on Twitter, perhaps we can get him to slag off Rupp and then sit back and watch the transfer funds roll in!

Fair enough. Every right to defend himself/the club, if he believes, grounds exist.

I'm no fan of Rupp but I've never been personal against him and he like any of us (money permitting of course) has the right to defend himself.

God almighty, I've just defended Rupp. Must be Christmas...

 

I too thought that if the offer was around what he wanted Rupp would sell up. I also think that if the offer was what he wanted as a very successful businessman he would have been able to squeeze a bit more out of them. And all the talk from WAGMI suggests they were at least prepared to match what Rupp wanted.
In his first statement Rupp talked about his responsibility to leave the club in safe hands. Just because he isn't putting money into the club (as far as we know), that doesn't means he hasn't got th club's secure future in mind.
Fordy wants Rupp out of the club, he wants an owner who is more involved and who is prepared to invest a few million in the club/team. There I agree with him, I think we all do. If the offer was good enough financially to Rupp why doesn't he take it, from his point of view it would make sense. He could move on.
Maybe, just maybe we have miss judged him and he is behaving like a responsible owner.
I'd still like to see him invest some money in the squad in January and in the summer.

 

WAGMI should buy the ground and ban him from the premises, now that'd be top tier pettiness.

Ask those who talked about it I didn’t and couldn’t care less, as I put in my follow up comment simply deny what they said in a statement no need to mention lawyers we aren’t on Jerry Springer if Rupp takes legal action it is nothing to do with the club or fans it’s a failed business transaction. People slated that Wagmi group for airing on social media now the same ones are defending Rupp for doing it. All on the club’s official accounts, Rupp out.

That Athletic piece certainly doesn't flatter that group. Combine that with the information in Fuzzy's post #262 in the 'Stefan Rupp' thread -- anyone who hasn't read that, please do -- and one's opinion of Wagmi sinks ever lower. They may have rich professionals in the group, but to say the least they have not acted professionally. It really does appear, now, that Rupp was right in saying that he had received an offer, nothing more -- that is, no supporting documentation; also their ignorance about City, the EFL, and English footballing culture in general is astonishing, for people who claim to have been doing due diligence.

Rubbish. He is the one who appears to have acted professionally in this matter and whether you or others still think we need a new owner, I maintain Rupp deserves credit with his actions and the way he had dealt with this
