There's no way Rochdales average wage is higher than most in the division.

 

They have been in league one for a while probably paying slightly higher wages

They have taken in a lot more than they have laid out. Not sure we have been in competition with them for players

 

You've all been suckered in with the thinking that if you pay the biggest wages, you get the best players and you get promoted.

Good managers can
teams promoted on average budgets and sometimes the best budget guarantees you nothing.

What we pay players has no direct correlation to where we are in the league. That can only be done through a good manager, setting up well, using solid tactics and motivation.

Rupp gave Adams a competitive budget. Adams wasted it. You put Rupps budget in the hands of the FGR coaching team or Micky Mellon and they would be in the same position.
