What about the 9 other managers under Rupp before? Sometimes in life you have to look for common themes.

Right, class. Pay attention. Undermanager, put it away! Nibble...Stop it!
I can state categorically, definitively, and emphatically, that consortia it is. Fact. End of.
(This might be the only fact in this thread!)
(It is also a fact, even though some might call it an opinion, that Rowan Atkinson's Schoolmaster sketch is very funny indeed.)

Biggin won’t unless he suspects it is trading whilst insolvent, that’s his legal duty.
Clydesdale Bank won’t unless they think they’re not getting any money they are owed back and I don’t believe they are owed money.
So that leaves Rupp. The club owes him money apparently, and he paid £6m or whatever for it. If it goes in to administration he loses the club and gets pence in the pound on his £1.8m loan. If the club doesn’t owe money do anybody else, why the hell would he do that?
Let’s say there is a boycott, he has to inject money or the club goes into its overdraft to keep it afloat. If he puts it into administration he still loses his initial investment plus most of his loans AND the club has -12 points. Why would he do that? He would only do that if he wanted rid, and if he wanted to lose the least money he’d be better off selling now for a smaller loss.
The only plausible scenario where it benefits Stefan is if he does what Ken Bates allegedly did at Leeds. The club runs up massive debts with say HMRC, the bank and crucially with one of his other companies. The debt with his other company might be a paper debt, it owes a licence fee or a management fee, not an actual debt. If he owns more than 75% of the debt, he can use administration to pay the debtors pence in the pound and buy the club back from the administrator. He’s written off 90% of the debt to the other companies and got the club back. The catch is HMRC won’t stand for that anymore.
Because realistically Stefan is the only person who can put the club in to administration, there is no reasonably foreseeable scenario where the club runs in to serious debt and Rupp doesn’t sell up first. He’d be better off selling for a small return well before that happened.weewhiskydram, Aaron Baker, Tolly856 and 5 others like this. -
I couldn't care less how they fund the club as long as they do actually fund the club properly
Where they raise the money and in what stratosphere of the web doesn't matter one bit to me as long as that money goes towards the benefit of Bradford CityThe Evidence, Manningham bantam, Gardscoigne and 5 others like this. -
I fear this is just an awesome, awful and elaborate wind up. Good things don't happen to this club.

I also think way too much emphasis seems to have gone on the NFT element of this. They've stated their aims are to bring a stats and analytics based approach to things - and I'd like to hear more about that, as I think basically all EFL clubs are falling way short at this.
As I said before, the club is rotting and I'm not enjoying it. My baseline on what constitutes an acceptable risk is currently WAY lower than it would be if I was enjoying it.weewhiskydram, The Evidence, Tolly856 and 5 others like this. -

People calling cryptocurrency magic beans and invisible money really are daft. For the folk that think that, I'd like to inform you that your bank account isn't a physical vault in a building full of notes and coins - and by your standards is 'invisible'.
Crypto isn't a fad and to be frank it's definitely going to outlive the demographic that seems to be it's main critic. There's a reason there's such a keen interest in the tech from the most impactful companies in the world, with a market cap valuation of trillions of dollars - so the jokers might want to learn about it sooner or later as it's going to become increasingly more involved in all our lives.
Thankfully a lot of older folk do acknowledge they know little about the technology, and actually make an attempt to learn about a topic that even those in the tech field find they have to think hard about. This crypto 'thing' isn't just a fad for the youth and a lot of educated folk across the age range are deeply invested in it.
What annoys me is prats like Simon Parker and his ilk (90% on Twitter) fearmongering about a topic they clearly know very little about, declaring it the end of days and trying to pull on heartstrings. I'm not sure if it was the T&A but there was a bloody sob story poem where a fan declared their love as a non-fungible token! It's as if these people are being as purposefully obtuse as they can be.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Never in a million years did WAGMI just submit a bid out of the blue. That’s not how any corporate acquisition works, and I know because its a field I work in. It takes weeks, even months of discussion, discovery and negotiaton.
Stefan Rupp is killing this club, he needs chasing out of town. And the fact this has played out publicly, will make the atmosphere at VP toxic as we continue to toil and wonder what might have been.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... I think the point scoring aspect was real, and I think Roger was right about the hysteria.
Reacting to draws like they're 7-0 defeats is far more embarrassing than the draws themselves.
It's just frustration. This season isn't that bad, performance-wise, nobody is definitively better than us on a match-to-match basis, nobody is beating us easily, but our propensity to draw with everyone is annoying as hell.
But you can see the hysteria when we're drawing game after game after game and someone is saying how badly we're performing and predicting a 3-0 defeat in the next game - when it's CLEAR nobody is going to turn us over like that... that's hysteria, and that's something I've legitimately seen on this forum on more than one occasion.
Other than that, most posters and most comments are more level headed than that level of gibberish - but the baseless negativity is always right there, exaggerating and pretending we're bad when we're merely average.Stafford Bantam, Bantam Boy, baggers and 5 others like this. -
