Best of luck to them both, was never a massive fan and people can go back to my comments even on the winning run it was never about hindsight but could they improve the team which other than making us tight they didn’t do in my opinion. We were in danger though and they kept us up so I hope they stay at the club learn from the experience, and have success in their future.

 

Shame for both that they never got to experience a VP crowd, but if they get to stay at the club then hopefully there'll be a chance for fans to thank them for their efforts. They deserve that. The certainly don't deserve any animosity and this is a much better outcome than them having to experience a hostile crowd and a more acrimonious exit - which I think is likely to have happened if they'd stayed at the helm.

Its the right decision, credit to Ryan because he could've taken the easy option and kept them on.

A big thanks to T&S for preserving our league status and I wish them all the best. Hopefully they take up the roles offered to them.

Now appoint Wellens and win this dogshit league next season.

 

Right decision, as already pointed out should have only been until the end of the season anyway. Thanks T&S for getting us out of the shit, time to to hand over to a more experienced head who can get us out of this god awful league.

 

Now all we need to do is bring back McCall to steady the ship.....

 

Why - he was not working solo. Rhodes and Sparkes were around to give the ambitious target of remaining in this division and we do not know what the financial constraints that could have influenced his thinking. He was also left with a poor squad to balance and strengthen so the "club" and who has run it bears most of the responsibility of the mess we found ourselves in.
