T&S..... sacked

Depends on your point of view. Some blame TMAC for going for glory, but that would have only equalised and theres nothing to say they wouldnt have come back in extra time. I blame Stuart for playing it too safe. Millwall were blowing out of their collective ars@s at halftime and there was only one winner if he had gone for it.

 

The latest press conference with Conor Sellars leaves us in no doubt that T&S are managers for next season.
Although the retained list is still under discussion he did imply that they may try to shift unwanted contracted players.

 

I wouldn't count on it. They're dealing with the man who gave McCall an extended contract - then fired him.

 

Sellers still harping on about building momentum for next season in the T&A this morning. Does he not realise how daft that sounds on the back of 6 games without a win and only one game left?

Season over and it's time to chill now. I don't think we are going anywhere under Turgid & Stalemate but will hold judgement on them being here in August for the sake of my mental health. If they are, and we perform then excellent. If they are and we don't then they WILL be out before the Xmas tree comes down. If it's Wellens or Adams then even better.

Despite the great run I've not warmed to T&S, they just don't inspire me in the way that passionate managers like Kammy & Stuart, and "proper football managers" like Parky ever did, but would love them to prove me wrong if only for the sake of stability. Somehow I doubt I will be wrong and can see the merry go round being cranked up sometime in September.

 

The blame for this season isn’t down to T&S it’s down to the first 16 games that garnered 13 points if Stuart had just matched T&S points per match record we would be on 72 points nicely in the play offs despite the last few matches

 

So the last 15 games that have "garnered" 13 points didnt happen ? Phew.

 

Depends which way you look at it. If it wasn't for Stuart getting those 13 pts we would be playing for our football league future tomorrow.

 

Not sure anyone is apportioning blaming they are just showing concern with regards the club going forward, everyone has said T&S did a great job getting us safe but question if they are the right people to take us forward, I dont think that is an unreasonable question to ask as a Bradford City fan.

 

You never seem to grasp this concept of a manager and a team that regresses, or goes backwards, with a series of indifferent results, not just for a few games but over a SUSTAINED period of time with no apparent ability to drag the team back and break the slump.

Once confidence drops, heads go down, players loose the belief, supporters loose the belief, and there’s often no coming back. That is tried and tested in football.

T & S won’t get us promoted they have run out of ideas and shown why they were youth coaches.

Even if we had got to the playoffs, taking our terrible form into them would have meant we got beat.

 

What I do grasp us they took a team that was plunging towards relegation and turned it round and five poor but narrow defeats doesn’t change that

 

If Stuart had been here we would already know we were in the national league
