T&S..... sacked

Taking what they have done overall what they started with and only one window they should be given another window to get it right next season bringing in another manager from the magic roundabout will be counter productive

 

The football is certainly appalling to watch and at this moment in time and the current entertainment value on offer will not sell season tickets.
All most supporters ask for are performances worthy of winning a game not the pedestrian, lacklustre durge served up under T & S.
It stale and tactically inept.
Experiment all you like the players don't seem interested and the small minority who do show any glimmer of passion get dragged down and disappear, unable to effect the proceedings.
Terrible season like the year one to forget.

 

When 4-2-3-1 is played it is based on passing across the defense and in diamonds to cut through the opposition midfield and create chances, It has to be played at pace, Premier league teams have the skills needed to zip the passes about and make it work, At our level it is slow and easy to defend against and labored and predictable and turgid to watch

12 managers in 10 years why would a 13th be any different they were brought in to steer us from relegation they have done that. They should be here next season to kick on

Sadly, Sparks didn't say this. Now he's going to be scraping the egg off his face for the second time in his relatively short City Career. The worst part of all this, is that we're going to be losing two decent youth coaches too, as I can't see them staying at the club when he has to fire them at the end of the season. There's no way he can keep them on, when it's painfully obvious they are out of their depth. They only have one game plan, and it's showing. Four losses on the spin, and one win in how many? It's a shame that the bubble massively burst, because for a little bit, they brought the feel good factor and glimmer of hope back to us all, but I'm now left with a feeling that these two just got lucky, and are now making it up as they go along. I'm not sure the players are buying into them either. Danny Rowe sure as hell wasn't. Cheers guys, good work to get us safe from relegation, and I wish you well in your future careers. However, Bradford City have now been in the bottom tier for far too long, we've got a CEO who has put it on paper that next season will be a promotion season, and we've got fans who are desperate to get out of league two. Unfortunately, you two guys can't achieve that.

 

The reason why we have struggled is because we don't have football director or sporting director. We have no identity on the pitch.

However, take the football/sporting director away. T & S are just not good enough. I don't have the confidence that they would take us up automatically next season. Do you? So lets get a manager in that wants to play in an attacking way, that knows about WINNING and the fans believe in.

Rowe leaving highlighted that he didn't believe in T & S and thought forget this. Club is a joke and left. The Rowe situation alone has shown that this job is too big for them at this moment.

Rowe left because he couldn’t get in the City team on a regular basis and got offered a 3 year deal at Chesterfield.

 

Mate, he was here for 3 months. Chesterfield were interested in him in Jan when we signed him.

Rowe isn't 2 years old. He understands football and COMPETITION! He didn't just leave because Chesterfield offered him a 3 year deal. He left because he clearly didn't believe in the set up here.

 

Lets say thats the case then. If you yourself was a striker at this club would you be happy? Constantly playing negative tactics, been a sole and isolated figure up top on your own relying on Evans and Clarke to provide you with chances? Id be looking for the door and fast!

 

Director of football is another level of management we neither need nor afford...

 

This is league 2 not Serie A!!
The formula for having a good chance of promotion from this league is simple in my eyes.
Base the squad on what we had in 2013 and we won’t be far away.
Key areas:
Keeper - A good shot stopper who doesn’t make to many silly mistakes. Someone who constantly shouts instruction to the back 4

Centre Backs - Tall powerful units who don’t need pace but can soak everything up from set pieces

Full back - nothing special needed here, just a bit more pace to stop any threat from opposing wingers.

Wingers - nothing fantastic needed, just an outlet wide with decent ability to put a cross in without hitting the first man.

Centre Mid - A leader , a captain !!

Strikers - Big man small man partnership but absolutely 2 up front at all times in every game home and away.

Formation - 4-4-2 every single game

 

And have them walking out onto the pitch to hi ho silver lining just to complete the nostalgia view?

 

Yet none of the top seven play 4-4-2 as their usual formation.

 

What is it with our fans and this fixation with 4-4-2? Just because it worked once for one club doesn't mean its the default setting for every club.
