Fully agree regarding Vernhams finishing being shocking, but tbf if he could finish he would be top end L1 and not here. If MH can get some confidence into him when he returns he is definitely one of the very few we have capable of being good enough for a L2 squad pushing for promotion.

 

He played 7 times most of the bench with 2 assists and 1 goal the same as Gillead who has played nearly every game Crankshaw will have a decent career

 

Nahki Wells was a quality finisher and a great athlete, and yet he played for us in L2.

A lot of players need to prove themselves somewhere before they end up higher up the pyramid.

It's not like good players don't exist at this level.

As a Bradford lad I'm really pumped to see Hughesy in charge, he was my childhood hero as my username attests to. Best moment of my young life that CWC win!

Not been to a Bradford match in years and I'm bringing my lad this afternoon, hoping to get the chance to meet Hughesy and get an autograph for him. What's my best chance? Before or after the game, and do you have a specific entrance like at Old Trafford where it would be best for us wait?

Obviously I can't join in with any chants referencing City but it might be me starting the Hughesy ones!!

 

I'd think unless your prepared to hang around getting his autograph today may be difficult, I'd think he'll already be at the ground now and post match there are interviews etc, if you could get a couple of hours take your lad down to training at Rawdon Meadows at Apperley Bridge good luck.

 

Just a little warning. Watching City is addictive so your lad might prefer to be amongst proper fans

You're being disingenuous with that comparison. For a while our first choice wide men have been Daly, Gillead and Delfounseo, and he's a better option than at least 2 of those, if not all 3.

I would like to see him return, but I think part of his loan deal will say he has to play.
