Nah, Adams didn't pick him. Raynor tried to check if he was fit and Adams said yes but wasn't selected in the squad and then Raynor was reluctant to ask any further as he seemingly got the impression he was dropped for another reason.

 

Perhaps Sutton has been lobbying the other players to try and get Sundays off!!

 

We brought Adams in to do things his way in order to bring us success. Some fans seem to be looking for discord when there might not be any. Let’s just trust him to get on with it and see where it takes us. For far too long we’ve had players, owners and managers taking the mick. Time to stop the pussy footing around and get some, old school discipline back in the building.

We are paying a decent guy to manage….let him manage how he sees fit. He will stand and fall by those decisions. If a manager isn’t allowed to discipline, then there is zero point in having a manager in the first instance.

 

Adams seems to be getting along with Evans, pretty man enough for me knowing their previous history. Evans is getting better for it which is an added bonus. New player for me!

Suggestive, but zero evidence in all honesty.

 

As you say all speculation and if there is a dispute between player and manager it should be kept in-house, as most of the transfer business has been this season.

 

There might be nothing other than tactical reasons. We’ve a squad of 25 or 26 players, I wouldn’t expect him to give reasons why those outside the match day squad weren’t selected.

If Sutton doesn’t at least make the bench after 2 or 3 games when fit, then that would be the time to ask why, but only if the results aren’t going our way. I like Sutton, but there’s nothing we can do or say that will make Adams change his mind, nor should there be. Songo’O warned that Adams likes to keep everyone on their toes, so we shouldn’t be too surprised when this happens. It could be Watt next..

God help Adams if we don't get a positive result at Salford, at least some said they would not judge him and the squad until after 10 games, unbelievable Jeff.

 

No issue with him being left out. I just found the exchange between Raynor and Admas amusing and it was more what was unsaid or not asked that got my interest.

 

Still suggestive with no evidence no matter how much spin you put on it.
