Songo’o is the type of player you want when the backs are to the wall. I believe in the last few games of last season he was one of our best players and was unlucky to lose his place. Platt has done exceptionally well but against the more physical teams I think he is the right player

Mr Banks obliges and sets up a mouthwatering encounter next Saturday.
Well done City didn't expect a 6 point haul after being dumped out of the FA Cup last weekend.

Platt is more physical than Songo’o, he is bigger and has a rugby league background he’d have thrived today as he did against the likes of Stevenage and Tranmere.

I don't think Platt is bigger than Songo'o. According to Wikipedia Platt is 1.83m tall and weighs 67kg. Songo'o is said to be 1.86m tall and weighs 77kg.
Not to say Platt can't cope with a physically threatening attack, but Songo'o is not at a physical disadvantage.

Not according to this Matty Platt is definitely 6’4 as it was quoted a while ago:

I agree with you. Songo'o like to throw himself around and try to be physical. It gives the impression that he's big and strong. Platt is strong but also clever with it. He has the potential to play at least at league one. He is now settling in and is clearly able to anticipate things better. He's got more of a football brain than Yann and should play every game ahead of him that he's fit. Yann's throwing himself around gives the impression that he's strong and committed but really he has to do it because he's slow off the mark and trying to catch up with play or with the forward whereas in the same situation Platt is already ahead in his thinking.

Platt has impressed me. He's settled well and is the more solid and dependable between him and Crichlow. He's not as confident passing though but he can improve that. Over time he may end up being the better defender.

Impressed for sure . From the get go and so it’s proving…Lewis and Platt our best two signings for consistency. Both are easily a League above. Paudie has NOT been missed one iota.

they well and truly peed me off after the Harrogate but you cannot fault the effort of the last two away games.............. I was thinking maybe we could pick up two points but what’s happened is brilliant ............ just hope we can start sorting our home form out if we do then I really think we will go up ..................3 teams above us I can deffo see one staying there but our squad may become a huge say in it when other teams are struggling :) and Walker is still to come back in ................at this rate we could just gently ease him back in rather than the big rush job

Your not wrong.Supporters in general are now behind the team and feel a togetherness with the players.
Harry Lewis is a classic example he wants to play for City in spade loads and in return he's gained a special bond with our fans so sadly lacking in previous seasons.
I just couldn't warm to the squad under Adams tenure at all.

I think that stops any doubts as to whether he meant it or not. The lad has a left peg like a wand, that ability to strike ball like does with the skill to beat a man will see him play higher than this level. Ain't just hype, the lad adds goals and assists to his game

2 different types of performance in those two games and both produced wins...it shows that City can adapt when needed.

On another note city are where they are with some good players missing and other teams were [usually] at full strength, when the tables are turned it could get interesting!!
