What is our 2, 5 and 10 year strategy and what are we doing to achieve this? Not 'We all want to get back to L1 and we're working hard to get there.' thanks. That's obvious. What's the strategy? At the moment it's a wholesale chopping and changing of squad every season, living from hand to mouth.

Since 2012/13 season we've been to Wembley 3 times, had numerous huge cup ties with numerous TV appearances, sold players for lots of money and also been fortunate with sell on clauses generating us millions of 'extra' pounds. Apart from some lifelong memories we have absolutely nothing to show for our fortune, hard work and success. Indeed, we're right back where we started. Several other lower league clubs have used their 'bonus' income to provide modern training facilities that can generate income as well as benefit their players. Others are investing in scouting. Not only do these clubs have memories like us but they also have a lasting legacy from their achievements. What are the future plans for windfalls of this nature?

Why do Bradford City publish the bare minimum on their annual accounts when most clubs are very transparent?

Is the lead singer of The Pet Shop Boys singing or talking?

I think what's annoying about the answers is that the reservations fans had are 'justified'.

I don't want to hear that the board didn't want to interfere with Bowyer's management while he was at the helm when clearly he was one game away from being sacked. It doesn't add up. They say Vaughan was loaned out because Bowyer decided that was the way to go; what board nonchalantly signs off on loaning out their top scorer with the manager one game away from being sacked? Had the idea not crossed anybody's mind that a thumping at Oldham might be the end?

That's really not good enough of an answer, if it's true, it's pathetic, if it's not then at least have the decency to say "we backed Bowyer in loaning out Vaughan and selling Doyle because of the financial ramifications, not just because the coach-for-now insisted".

This really needs to be followed up at the next meeting.

 

Your logic isn't simple at all.

Time and time again you posted that sacking Stuart, despite being in the play off positions was the right thing to do because we were "on a losing streak".

Yet this season you defended Bowyer during a similar losing streak by using the fact we were in the play off positions.

It's a completely inconsistent point of view.

What is it about Gary Bowyer that makes you believe that he could turn it around?
He had clearly lost the vast majority of the fans and it was as plain as the nose on his face that the players were utterly demoralised and no longer performing for him.
His reaction to recent thrashings by very poor teams was one of bemusement. His remedy was to keep doing the same things over and over again. He never once put his hand up and accepted that maybe it was his poor tactics that were causing our problems - it was always blaming the players.
'A creditable draw against Cheltenham'. Once you start believing that grinding out draws, creating almost no chances and dropping home points against teams below you is 'creditable' then the game is up, I'm afraid.
Setting up to grind out draws or 1-0 wins against rank bad teams is no way to run a promotion campaign. He was lucky in getting the rub of the green for several weeks - but own goals and soft penalties will only get you so far and once the wheels started coming off he had no answers.
Do you seriously believe that a couple of journeyman attackers and a youngster from Scotland were going to transform our season without a radical rethink of our direction?

 

Bowyers been sacked m8, everyone just got smashed instead.

 

He shouldn't have even been here to make the signings. Anyone with their eyes open could see the players hadn't bought into his style and our league position was entirely false.

It's not taking my bat and ball home. It's the opposite, by not burying my head in the sand when things are clearly not working. We would've been guaranteed bottom half finish under GB. The rest of us want to succeed and try make something of the season and I'm glad the board agree. A month too late but at least they've tried to be proactive. You would've allowed GB to finish his contract meaning fighting for our lives for our league status come May 2021.

The way we perform in the January transfer window is laughable.
"Ryan Sparks discussed the difficulties of the January window, generally, with four strikers approached on deadline day who did not wish to make the drop down to League Two, or would demand up to three times previous wages to do so."
So on deadline day we approached 4 strikers from a higher division who didn't want to come and play for peanuts at a club in shambles with a manager barely clinging onto his job.....I'm flabbergasted

 

My partner and I sit in the upper tier of the main stand where the seats are just about manageable for size, but when we’ve sat in the lower tier for cup games there’s noticeably less room, I certainly wouldn’t want to have to put up with that every home game

Its got to be @Fordy117 . Recently he has been very open to others suggesting he backs up his claims, on here, of being able to sort the club out by getting down to VP and doing it.

Nows the ideal chance for that to happen.
