We need more than a few teams to struggle to stay up

 

Agree 100% that man alone has f****d this season up, I have every confidence in David Hopkin turning this season around, plenty there to work with and hopfully players coming back, I think we will get 3 points next Saturday at Accrington, Sunderland will be top 6 but the way they played today a long way off autos for me.

 

cheap shot. easy to have a go when someone gets sent off as no-one will disagree . did you say that against Wimbledon?

Scannell was poor all day thought Dom poleon was back

 

Hard to tell from the kop, i thought he played well today. There were other instances where players had a free header or shot, usually at the back post. Happens every game. First i’ve seen of Sunderland and i thought they were strong physically but take out Catrermole and McGeady and they weren’t owt special. That away support though is different class. Best i’ve seen for years.

 

He has not been performing as well as expected for an ex championship player and most who saw him play for town would agree he has lost some pace, His sending off was a disgrace as any footballer knows that to headbutt another player or attempt to is an instant red card and he adds to the problems as regards the team with the injuries we have, However was pointing out that sometimes there is a silver lining behind the cloud that it gives us the chance to try someone else in his place with an opportunity to stay in the side, Your comment about cheap shot and Wimbledon are bizarre to say the least and cannot see the relevance,

 

WHAT has really pissed me off today, is the fact that CITY are now back in the bottom four !!
PLYMOUTH gained their first WIN, and Gillingham, and Wycombe Won too.

Ah well, ONLY 34 games of agony to go !

 

Until the sending off I felt power and Cattermole controlled the game well. But at the end when they needed his experience it showed from
Cattermole. He was everywhere blocking and winning headers etc. And to say he played the majority of the game on a yellow I felt he was very good. If only we had that quality.

 

Who do we bring in? Seedorf looks miles off of it and Gibson doesn’t seem to perform consistently

I wouldn't agree it was a good performance BUT it was better. A long way to go!!!

 

Their game management after the penalty was top drawer, they hunted everything down and showed a physical side essential in the poorer quality of league one.
I came away feeling like i’d seen a cracking game of football where we started to look like a team unit. Unfortunately this highlighted our weaknesses even more, the defending of high balls in the box and the lack of real scoring chances and a target man that Hopkin craves. If only Hopkin had been brought in at the beginning of pre season, could well be our downfall this season.

 

McGeady's on £31k a week and Oviedo who was suspended today £25 per wk

 

If we can continue to work on those set pieces and throws to good effect we might get enough points to limp to January.

 

There have to be those at the Club who must cringe at the results of their recruitment drive. No excuse, no defence and not good enough..sorry, but it still grates.
