Really looking forward to this one. Hopefully you'll bring a good number up as you always do.

If you've not been up to the best city in the North East before, all pubs are away fans friendly and we're a friendly bunch to talk to. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to The Valley and hope that all those travelling up will have just as good of a day as I did in the reverse fixture. Went out in Bradford for a few hours after the match and every local I spoke to was spot on.

I hate Sunderland by the way as was arrested for doing the knobhead sign to a group of your fans at Roker Park (1988) in the main stand nearest the away fans who were wholeheartedly mocking/singing about the fire of 1985.

The PC that nicked me was a PC McCall to add salt to the wound :-(

Whilst being frogmarched to the police area I was repeatedly spat on going past the Sunderland fans on the open terrace behind the goal.

Friendly fans my arse.

And Newcastle is by far the best night out for many a mile in the NE.

 

I take it you won't be going then because you can't trust yourself to behave in a civil manner

 

Newcastle city centre is fkin awful on a weekend night time. Full of feral kids, Geordie shore wannabes and pissed up Stag and Hen do’s. It’s almost as bad as Blackpool. You want a decent night, head down Gosforth high street or over to Tynemouth

 

I'm not sure why I called it The Valley, I thought I'd heard it before as a nickname for your ground and completely forgot about Charlton. You always get a set of dickheads from every fan base unfortunately. I've always looked out for Bradford's results while we've been in the Premier League as I've always appreciated the fanbase.

This. It's shite. I only go out in Newcastle after a gig.

 

Looking forward to this game should be a good atmosphere. I have visited Tyneside quite a lot over the years never any problems pet. Canny day out for us hopefully no Radgies about.Lets just Git Mortal.Lets hope nobodys being a proper workyticket . Win or loose we'll calm doon al mek a cuppa.

Got my 4 tickets weeks ago......but yes get them bought boys and girls....official Sunderland AFC site says we sold 1600 initial allocation....

 

Lost just one game this season Sunderland and have 2 in hand on top two.

Still maintain what I said when we played them, they will win the league.

Be a very tough game. But keep it tight and who knows? Looking forward to it
