A bit above our league RT , but spot on. He was the best wing back seen in L1/2 I saw last season, by a mile.

 

On the bench for Neil Warnock, your right that he stood out and should be playing that level. I'd hope we'd be able to find a player with similar attributes.

 

All transferred players say positive things about the club they have just joined regardless of the club involved. They are hardly going to say "didn't want to come here", "the club is s**t and deserves to be in the division it is" now are they? It is time we got some more in the door though here at BCFC, and preferably nothing underwhelming

He was resigned for a second spell at Harrogate so he must have done alright

The bigger problem is that the system we play makes the squad even weaker.

With a flat back four it suddenly looks a lot better.

 

Just been reading up another injury prone defender coming back from a serious injury. Does this club ever learn.

I'd be actually injury prone or has he just been injured on the one occasion when he tore ankle ligaments?

Genuine question as he's very young, not had much first team experience and I can't find much about him on the internet other than he was Wolves academies player of the season a few years ago.

 

On the plus side, at least it's an actual transfer rumour. Every cloud and all that...

 

In terms of the signings made so far, I think the majority agree that Pattison and 'a fit' McDonald are excellent signings. Smith looked like a good signing and the type of player we needed to bring in, and then we were underwhelmed by the news Oyogoke and Odour and bemused by the capture of Taylor - have I missed someone?

Based on the opening 2 weeks of the season, I would have to say Odour might actually prove to be a very good addition. Oyogoke has not impressed as yet and Taylor is obviously injured, but not the best of starts in the opening game of the season. Smith is looking promising with his pace, intelligent runs and not being afraid to shoot. Think we might have a decent player here. Pattisons form speaks for itself and McDonald is being eased into the team after injury but we know what he is about and capable of.

Although very early days, perhaps our signings are proving to be slightly better than we originally thought? Clearly we are still in need of a LWB and pace in the central defensive three - although I would like Odusina to be given a chance again. An additional attacking option would obviously not go amiss either.

 

Appears both his loan deals at Harrogate have ended in injury and returning back to his parent club.

 

He had a bad injury and has been injured before. Same hysteria over Stubbs. Moore wanted him at Wednesday so must have something.

Ignore him anyway, he wrote off Pattison. Wrong wrong wrong.

 

Harsh labelling a youngster injury prone. He just happened to suffer an ankle injury earlier this year, can happen to any player.

 

I reckon if this lad Richards signs he will be playing left sided central defender and Odusina will be on his way out

 

A matter of opinions simons. However, for me a team that finished on 76 points, 6th in the league and only marginally off automatics is a proven and very competitive one for League 2. The significant majority of that squad remains intact and therefore represents a very strong foundation to build from. Don't need to say much more as the facts speak for themselves. Yes, it needs improvement and the signings have in part addressed some flaws whilst left others exposed - a new formation to boot has highlighted this even more so.

People view things differently and that I can respect. For some, failing to win promotion represents a squad not good enough to build from. I view it differently.

 

Edit that..just read that he played LWB for the Wolves youngsters too, so maybe there afterall

 

You could be right that Oduor might prove to be a good addition, but I reckon that will be more by luck than design. I'm convinced he was brought in to play at LWB in the new system.
