    I'd love to have the Q & A session we had with Adams, but with Hughes and Hodges. Why the zonal marking? Why the limited use of a large squad? Why nobody left up at corners? Why persist with poor set piece players?

    I don't see him as that old head, yet. Watching Stubbs you'd think he is an experienced pro and moves like he's 35 anyway, but he's only had 64 games in L2, 19 in Scotland and another 7 in L1 to his career to date. He is still a lad learning his craft. With him, Kelly (126 apps across 3 Irish divisions) & Odusina (44 games in NL & 35 in L2), it's a lot of lads approaching their mid 20s with not a great amount of experience of this level under their belts.

    Pairing two up with limited experience of this level, with a keeper who has had one season under his belt as a starter did breed some easily avoidable errors/pens and goals towards the end of last season. They will learn from it, but having a proper pro with a good 7 or 8 seasons as a starter on his CV might do these lads the world of good as the season goes on.

    Has the club said anything about offering a deal to Critchlow? All it says on the retained list article is that he has returned to his parent club

    It just looks like it's an age of 24 thing? As Huddersfield have notified him his contract will expire will expire on June 30th, it looks like all we or anyone who wants him have to do is wait until Saturday to sign him to a deal and there should be any additional fees needed.
