Banks worth 50 k. Seriously. He is a 250 to 400 k. Because of were he is now and his possible potential. Better teams will get more out of him.

 

Yes £50k is far too low, but £400k is way too high. If we spent that money on him every toy would be thrown out of every pram.

Experienced defender Tommy Smith has signed for MK Dons after his release from Colchester. Stockport County have signed Louie Barry on loan from Aston Villa, the young winger was on loan at MK Dons and Salford last season.

Swindon have moved Ronan Darcy on to Crawley. Swindon are in the market for a few players still as we approach the opening game as they currently only have 16 first team players available for the first game of the season.

 

I can see a Banks deal being worth £500k+ but with a number of incentives e.g. promotions, appearances, sell ons, etc.
Initial fee around £150k-£200k feels about right

 

Apparently this is the case. The final number with incentives and add ons like promotion bonuses, appearances bonus etc is £600K if every add on is accomplished, apparently it is about £200K up front. With a 25% sell on as well and an unknown buy back price for Palace. Say they've pretty well covered their interests if Banks becomes a very good player.

 

Blackpool and Stockport want him.

He can, it's a while since he has. They also have Wootton, Madden, Olafe and new signing Chadwick to play up front as well as Stretton who is injured for some time.

Either way Blackpool want Banks. Great if he rejoins but if I was his agent I would like you have been there done it, don’t go back and ruin yourself. Wait until they make div 1 if you are ever thinking about a return there.

 

Wootton is the one who is coming back from injury. Madden is fine at the minute, played 85 mins on Saturday in a friendly against Blackburn.

Agreed, not a chance they'd get him or outspend Blackpool. It looks like Banks is going to leave on a perm which would wipe us out the running anyway I'd have thought. Blackpool probably a better use for him too given we aren't using wingers too often it seems, neither are Stockport.

 

Personally I don't think he is worth risking a significant fee up front just too raw and lacking the football brain, he seemed intent on taking everyone on at times, he didn't exactly tear the league up for us he was 'good' in patches but is good '400k'?

Wish him luck though it sounds like his future lies elsewhere
