Did you not see Stubbs at Crewe when he had to cover the channel and got destroyed by Agyei? Taylor also managed to get spun by some pub league players at Bury. Both are immobile centre backs whose attributes are being the dominant aerial force in the back line. We shouldn't be asking them to do things they're not equipped for.

And based on Hughes playing them in the centre of a back three, and only in the centre so far in pre season, I'd say he agrees.

Yes I read the report and unless he bucks his ideas up I can see him aimlessly drifting along with the kids, which is what the T&A alludes to imho.
