How do Swindon always seem to bag good players on loan from rivals??

That move boggles the mind and can't be that lucrative for MK.

Nah, in not having that.

 

Probably due to finite resources and having players in that position already. I've not really seen him play so no idea how good he might or might not be but I can't imagine he's worth breaking the bank for?

 

Reading stuff online from their fans, they don't like Vince at all. PR junkie and ego maniac. I had a read through their Wikipedia profile, and it must have been written by him. I lost count the amount of times "Worlds first" was lauded.

 

I wonder what percentage of FGR fans actually care about just stop oil and rampant veganism ? Probably very low. You certainly don't support a team because of it's "green credentials", you do it because it's bred into you.

 

Yeh possibly, id have taken him. Especially on loan. Rather have had him over Banks (wouldnt say no either if in for him) - far more versatile.

 

He signed for Swindon on loan so resource not an issue as looks like we are looking at loans and in a WG/FW position.

He would have been perfect - competition for Walker and can play either wing. Excellent spell at Hartlepool last season.

 

But not fancied by his parent club. Odd decision imo, especially now they are in the same league he did very well in last season.

 

Fair enough. I don't know enough about him but I'm assuming his wages were bumped up with his move to MK so if Swindon are paying his full wages it could be a hefty lump for someone who may or may not fit the new wing back system.

Sounds like he's a decent player though and had a good spell in this division only last year.

 

I think its more of Kemp doesnt fancy MK Dons anymore....

Much prefer Banks myself.

 

Dan Kemp had fantastic stats last season, however speaking to Hartlepool fans they said he was either amazing as against us or totally anonymous in some games. He had an amazing game against us, but I’d always warn against judging on one viewing. I’d have taken him but still I’ve seen Banks over the course of a year and had he not got an injury would have got double figures on the wing, he’s got a higher ceiling imo. Put it another way, if MK Dons had Banks I doubt they’d be willing to loan him out to a rival.

 

We are waiting for Scott Banks to come 'home' , that would appeal to me far more if we had half a chance of that happening. I suspect I will be disappointed though

 

Where does Banks fit into a 5-3-2? Hes an impact sub at best.

 

3-5-2 is not set in Stone Hughes said he would set formation to suit opponents versatility is the key.

 

He doesn't. Maybe the 3-5-2 used so far in the early friendlies is a smokescreen as we do not have the personnel in yet to play with wingers, given that Chappers is injured.

Probably just testing the system for plan B or defending leads?

 

If it is Banks who's returning we know what he brings to Bradford City, having said that we knew what Dion could do but he never reproduced that form.

 

Yes, which is why our incoming players should be versatile - and not just right wingers.
