Regan Hendry would be a very good signing, just released by Forest Green, was on loan at Tranmere and stood out for them against us. Glides on the ball and would solve the mobility issue in central midfield that we currently lack.

I think MH is definitely interested in him, not just from his performance in the away game, but also in the home game early in the season - he was a real handful, and almost scored for them. If the right offer is made, then we have as much chance of his signature than any other club

 

It is Crystal Balls season I see. If we are serious about promotion then he is just the type of player that could make a difference.

 

Trouble is, so was Osadebe, he was red hot for about 6 minutes, but yes Agyei looks the part and we need a few more of that calibre to come with him ..

 

I just hope Osadebe can find his form next season. He is still not right gingerly going into tackles, but that was a career threatening injury not just the physical side but the emotional recovery might take longer.

The Agyei situation is a typical one it’s a good player who’s name is pulled from the hat which we may or may not be true and when he signs for a southern club where he hails from the club gets pelters for missing out.

 

Seriously?! You are under the common misconception - like a lot of people are every summer - that certain teams are to be feared as they have unlimited budgets and will walk the league. The same notion as Salford several seasons ago, and we still finished above them. Stockport were supposed to run away with it this season. On that logic, Park Avenue should now be champions league world beaters, because they have a rich owner

In reality everyone has their limits, and the FFP will hopefully ensure that remains the case with your Wrexham's of the world

 

Joe Bennett, 33, left back released by Wigan. Comes with a wealth of experience and is an ex Boro boy. I think he would be a great signing for this level for a year or 2.
