If what Nixon says about Banks is true, it will be interesting to see what we do. I distinctly remember Rupp replying to a fan on Instagram saying we'd love to sign him and money was no issue. Not a good look if we sit on our hands.

Even for 250k it's the sort of investment we should make. Proven quality at this level who is still young and will only improve. In a year or so we could fetch 7 figures if he develops properly.

 

Looks like it's indirect news about us, it's the rumour about Banks to Stockport.

Hughes has made a couple of comments, one fairly recently and reading between the lines I have a little suspicion that we could be bought out if we go up.

Yep, its tough and just got a lot tougher. That said, some decent additions to the league this season and in a way it has softened the low from not going up. Im looking forward to this coming season.

 

Could banks be Bradford ends returning player? Think 250k is to much for him though if we arnt going to play with wingers.

 

Thats a fair point that is. 352 looks like the formation of choice. Thats a lot for an impact sub when we need to change formation to offer some width.

I dont see where he fits in.

 

Kian Harratt got 3 for Town yesterday. Im convinced that kid is going to go on and have a very good career. It’s a shame it didn’t work out from him here. A season under Warnock will do him the world of good.

 

I think Banks is probably our number one loan target. However if Stockport come up with a transfer fee that will be that and we move on.

 

Yeah another loan would be great, but it seems the players we have brought in all point to 3-5-2 so unless we can make a tyreik Wright sort of role for him off cook then don’t see where he fits

Here's a hypothetical for a Sunday morning. If Barnsley or another club offer 250k or more for Lewis, do you tell them where to go, or take the money and buy Banks?

 

Lewis stays 8 days a week!

 

What makes everyone think Crystal Palace will let Banks go.
