Chapman will take a while to recover from his hamstring operation according to MH in the T and A and will not be available - unfortunately.

 

so currently, we are without any fit wingers. This isn't looking good

 

I wouldn't have Chicksen in there either. No lack of effort and unfortunately took a long time to recover from a horrendous injury. He became that seasons scapegoat. We might be able to judge for ourselves before too long. He had a good season at Notts County last year and has just signed a new 2 year deal with them.
He also scored 9 goals last season!

 

Agree that was a horrendous start to his season, very similar to Osadebe start to last season, you have to be strong and put the incedent behind you, easy to say as a fan.

 

3 months and that doesn’t include getting game fit!

 

He seemed to be moving ok in the training video

 

I haven't seen Odour or Smith play but maybe we are going a different way this season in terms of playing wingers?

 

I 'can' play on the wing but that's not really the point!
Your 2nd sentence is the key and after last years balls up in the wide areas the club have to improve our RW/LW prowess

 

From the vids I've seen of Oduor I would say he looks more of a winger than anything else!

 

We were over loaded with wingers last season and hardly used them. If we are going to sign one please make it someone who can cross a ball

 

I’m going by what MH said in the video interview. However you never saw him running , being tested and only looking like Mr Happy bouncing the big blue gym ball .

 

At the end of the day Vince is just using the club to push his eco agendas and it was never going to naturally evolve when they have policies like only serving vegan food to fans and vegetarian pre match meals to players.

I know it might not sound a big thing but there is a wealth of choice amongst football clubs so anyone restricting that choice would have to be very successful to attract fans and players that aren't necessarily aligned to the core values of whatever Dale Vince decides they should be next.

I watch the video with regards the first day back and although I saw him coming in I didn't see him any of the trading sessions,?.

 

That would be an excellent loan. .

 

If it was that would be a massive boost. I'm not hopeful but fingers crossed

 

Why do we need wingers when its pretty clear we wont be using them.
