    Hopefully Hornby signing means that we will see ROD leaving at the same time. Turnbull seems very good at finding players new clubs and moving them on, let hope he works his magic there. Would love to see Doyle back as competition for Hornby

    Honestly don’t get the Doyle love in, City have moved on, judging by the photos of him still wearing City kit him and Mrs Doyle haven’t moved on. He’s 36 and played 35 games in the three years since leaving City. I’m no fan of O’Donnell but we can do better than Doyle.

    The club simply said it would be a busy week - made absolutely no promises on anything. They have announced Sikora, Foulds and Scales new deals each day. Its Wednesday, enough time left to announce a signing or two.

    Some fans are so impatient. They read things and then analyse it and come moaning on here when it isn't what they wanted.

    Bizarre behaviour from grown adults.

    Doyle is 36 years old and played under 30 games since leaving us. Was he even that good in his spell here?

    A no from me. Look forward, not back on this one. A lazy signing IMO.

    Ideally, we'll get most of our business done for the start of pre-season - I can see advantages to that. Otherwise, I couldn't give a monkeys how quickly we do our business, its much more important to get the right ones in. And I expect there'll be an element of seeing how ST sales go before we commit to much serious business.

    Agreed. Still 2 weeks left until pre season. Plenty of time to add 4/5 with a few tricking through early-mid July when we have a better indication on finances.

    Loan signings tend to arrive late too - many parent clubs prefer to assess players in pre-season before making decisions on loans. I'm hoping that if Obang does go to Leeds, we can sweeten the deal with a quality loan player or two coming our way.

    I think there is a training camp in Glasgow fairly early in pre season I think he would like as many as possible in place by the apart from possibly loan signings to help with bonding
    At the moment it looks like news management with announcement every day or so

    Last summer they sent us a crock but I suppose Stevens was ok. I wouldn't rush to bring him back though. Need better this time around. One of their young forwards like Geldhardt or Greenwood might be ok.

    Rather than looking at young loans might be better looking at established loans from L1 and L2....Andy Cook panned out ok last term.
