    I see what you are saying but maybe Mason Handshake meant just offer him some money (ie. Not all his wages) to leave and find another club.

    Truth is we have paid a full time wage for a part time player.

    For a young lad he does seem like a bit of a sick note. Hopefully he will start this season fit and really show us what he is capable of.

    If the medical staff are holding Jones and Reeves back in order to make sure their long term injuries are a thing of the past then that’s a good thing. However if Jones has picked up yet another injury then that is a big worry

    I still think Jones has a lot to give. His goals-to-game ratio is comparative to Wyke’s.

    He can’t be written off after an injury-ridden campaign last time out.

    But it isn't just last season. The season before he had the hip operation. And he didn't play against Carlisle, which I seem to remember was down to injury.

    Here's hoping he hits the ground running on Saturday.

    He’s not. He’s being written off for an injury ridden spell since he arrrived. Picked up an injury shortly after signing and has been in and out of the team ever since. Even now, despite looking in tip top condition, he’s injured again..!

    I think there's definitely a player in there. If he is fighting fit and plays a full season it will be like we have made a major new signing. I think some people have forgotten how good he is. Fingers crossed for the lad.
