Here we go yet another excuse, some players are shit some aren't it doesn't matter what they cost but refusing to accept that they are in fact shit is the problem. And as usual we have a large group of fans who simply accept shit players. They tend to fall into the happy clapper gang category who take flasks and packed lunches to games

Were calling Patrick poor when he smashed in the winner v Blackpool. If Robinson hadn't done similar at Wigan & Shrewsbury you'd have him labelled as poor. These are young lads finding their way in the game. They will peak and trough for a while to come and ultimately if they aren't good enough (like David Brown, Danny Forrest, Gareth Grant, Joe Brown etc) they will drift out of the game.

For now they are "bit part players" who we may or may not need at some point in the season, bottom line is we are league one club and can't logistically fill a squad with 25 proven players who have all got 100 games or more under their belt, from both an affordability perspective and from not being able to keep 25 experienced pros happy when 7 of them aren't eben in the matchday squad.

These players improve by playing small roles and daily training with the big boys. If we had to rely on a team of Patricks, Devines, Robinsons and Bruenkers we'd be up shit creek, but we don't and we aren't. Just chill and give them the backing they need to one day be our future.

 

There can be not doubt about it, those that were brought in were nowhere near good enough, and unfortunately I believe we can say similar about Kai, big heart but sorry not a league one footballer, as nice a guy as some have said.

 

Hold on just a minute, Robinson and Patrick are Poleons apart. People aren't fans of Robinson because of his goals, his overall play is good. Patrick on the other started well with a few goals and then began to look way out of his depth. At the age of these lads you can tell who's going to make the grade and who's not. Why kid yourself? Patrick and Bruenker aren't going to be the future of Bradford City.

Robinson is on a different planet to Patrick. Yes Patrick scored two great goals but he's absolutely awful. Horrific first touch and zero dribbling ability, he gives the ball away every times he has it. No end product and looks like a Sunday league player.

Robinson has the pace Patrick has but he can beat a man, use both feet and cross a ball.

I hope to god Patrick and Brunker are not our future that's for sure.

Tom Clare, Kai Bruenker, Alex Jones, Omari Patrick, George Miller and Charlie Wyke. Simply put, even with Wyke, we need another striker. Eoin Doyle would be a fantastic signing, but I'd be disappointed if it was in Wyke's place.
