And Rupp was 100% behind Rahic with regards getting rid of the prodigal son during that closed season, because of his lack of football knowledge, unfortunatly he believed every word that came out of Rahics mouth.

Julian Rhodes I believe, although not working for the club he offered his services with regards help when asked.

James Mason at the ground yesterday, noticed he was in the corporate bit. I hope by some shear miracle he was joined by a consortium wanting buy this club.

It's a bit too simplistic to say "Rupp out". There's a little issue of finding someone with the cash, and inclination to buy the club from him.

I've no doubt he'd love to be "out" and doesn't need encouragement from the fans to get the hell out.

But the pressing problem - Adams - now that can be sorted easily.

I think over the years there has been far to much hire and fire them with managers at Bradford city at some stage we are going to have to stick with a manager long term and allow them time to build a successful team. I acknowledge how it’s difficult to imagine it at the moment with Adams but looking at what’s out there and available nothing fills me with excitement and the next manager will face the same time constraints. I don’t think we will be able to find a manager who has a better CV than Adams at this level

I've said it elsewhere but I believe that Rupp has a vision for the club.... it's just not one which most fans would support.

    It goes like this

    1. The club can continue to operate so long as it doesn't cost me any of my own money
    2. It that means ticking over in the khazi league, so be it
    3. If the club needs better players, better coaches etc, then the club's CEO will have to find the money from within the budget I've set
    4. If we get promoted, so be it but don't look to me to fund it. I will of course take any increase in the club's value when I sell it
    5. If there is any spare cash in the club in the mean time, I'll take it as a return on my original investment
    6. If somebody makes me an offer to buy the club, I'll sell if it meets my asking price.
    7. And I'll appoint a CEO who will manage all of this for me 'cos I have little interest in football
    8. And I'll keep my head down below the parapet.

That's how it is and there is plenty of evidence to support it. That strategy would be almost identical to any other business which is dependent on a single owner, who doesn't want to invest and who doesn't need the company to grow. That's Rupp's mindset.

As I said a short while ago, the strategy will continue and the club simply sustain itself until the owner is required for his own self interest to put his hands in his pockets. That will only happen when fans cut off one of the club's big revenue streams .. by not buying season tickets for next season. That will hurt Rupp hard .. more than banners or placards ever will.

That will hurt Rupp in the pocket that’s true but in the end it will be fans that suffer because less money coming in would mean less available for team

Rupp is definitely a huge part of the blame without doubt, but DA seems to have made the same mistake as all our recent failed managers by signing 5/6 poor players Lavery, Robinson, Threlkeld, Khellar and Daly who I don't see as been any different to what we already had, as squad fillers rather than 2/3 quality players for this level who have a specific role. A solid right back like Caddis, a solid tackler in midfield like Jim O'brien type and a good striker. Our team would have been transformed with probably the same expense.

Did he sign Lowery or Robinson ??????
Please explain that he was in the job for months and he brought them in two strikers that don’t get goals :(
Listen keep blaming Rupp but I see a team that is badly underperforming:( you go on about the last 5 years but at points in that time we have had the teams but time after time we get shafted by wank managers :(
I mean at me point we had Doyle and Vaughan used in the right mannner we would have walked that league but yet again we end up with a negative manager was that Rupps fault ????

Let's change the name of this whole board to Bantams Constant Moan & Winge.

    It's all getting tedious now.

What ever happened to the happy smiling Stefan who flew into the country (Manchester Airport I think), and was seen driving around what I assume was the Hebden Bridge area, for the Heart of the Matter (sic) DVD!! The image portrayed was of an owner who had some tangible interest in the club!

I would anticipate that any sale would be at a figure which was at least what he paid for the club and probably index linked? The only reason to sell for less would be if the club was going to be worth far less and he needed to inject cash.

The problem with people not actually supporting the club, is that it becomes a spiral of decline. Less income=lower budget=reduced players wage budget=‘cheaper’ (poorer?) players=worse results=stuck in the current league=reduced interest in the club=a declining attendance at VP=less income.

Rupp had an offer which was allegedly good and turned it down, why? Is he happier just having his £300k a year guaranteed and any potential revenue from transfers? Proud custodian he is not.

We're not talking about the last 3 games. We're talking about the last 5 years!

Is it just a massive coincidence that we've looked shit under every manager we've had (which must be 10+ at this point) throughout Rupps reign? But yes I'm sure for the 9th time we'll pick another manager and it'll fix everything.

Rupp is responsible for the mess we're in. He bought us, let a madman do whatever he wanted, and has lived off of that scapegoat ever since. Rahic AND Rupp ruined us. One is still here and look where we are.

I ain’t saying he’s blameless but over the last 5 years certain managers have had the tools to do a lot better :(
David Hopkin came in started with his non working tactics reverted to a system that was clearly working only to revert back to his non working tactics ............. was that down to Rupp ???? Had he kept to the tactics that worked then maybe we could have stayed up

Bowyer you get handed two lethal strikers ( Vaughan and Doyle ) and you set up to play defence football !!!!!! Was that down to Rupp ???
I can guarantee that every manager brought into the club since Rahic went had the fans blessing

Bowyer didn’t see to many moaning about him
McCall same again you had a few grumblings but the majority went with it
Trueman/ Sellars yet again the fans went with them because they went on a good run
Adams yet again the fans wanted him

so in a nutshell he’s provided what the fans wanted he’s provided a competitive budget yet somehow he’s the problem .............

We provide the budget by being mugs and believing we have a chance of promotion every season, selling 15k season tickets. The whole "sustainable" idea is for Rupp to spend nothing on us and take our support for granted.

Rupp has instilled a culture of disinterest and failure during his ownership which is why we have finished in a worse position every season. Do you think we'd be where we are now if he had a keen passion for football and this club and demanded success, and looked to improve the club at every opportunity? He doesn't give a shit and the attitude trickles down, and that's why we get to the point every season where it looks like no one gives a shit and we just go through the motions.

You said it yourself that every manager that has come in has had a good CV and were pretty much welcome by the fans. So is it just a massive coincidence that they've all failed? Maybe our training ground is built upon a ancient burial site and we're cursed to fail until we move?

OR, the one constant in the last 5 years might be the problem.

Don't agree it could easily be sorted
It would mean two things had to happen
Mr Sparks admitting he has made a huge mistake
Mr Rupp funding his severance pay
Don't hold your breath that happening any time soon sadly
