    He didn't seem to mind early in the season when we put a couple of results together. At that time it was almost hourly updates of everything he was getting right at the club.

    Interesting to note that now times are tougher he's putting out fewer statements than Stefan Rupp?

    I did say at the time that @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler reminded me of Sparks by running and hiding once his belly stopped getting tickled. It actually seems like there's truth in it.

    Ironic. Rupp's done more to damage the reputation of this club than WAGMI ever could.

    Sorry but that's absolute nonsense. You don't delete your social media account just because you want a "few days" off.

    You put the phone on silent or mute the notifications for a while.

    If it's a long term illness though and potentially affects, and has been affecting his job for the last few months then I'll apologise in full and retract the statements I've made.

    Yes he has. The vast majority of the time under his tenure, the club has been a basket case. We've been systemically rotten for 5 years. 8 managers in the last 3 years, heads of recruitment in and out, players leaving within months of arriving, our reputation within the game has been shot for a while.

    James Martin deleted his Twatter account and all other social media presence after he got a load of pelters. A load of pelters cos he charged punters 40 quid for a "personal online cooking class", and the live feed went down, and then the audio went down, and most people couldn't follow the recipe correctly. And he didn't refund anyone, and when people were calling him out for being unprofessional, he threw all his toys out of the pram and deleted his accounts. So yeah, people do it. Generally those people who don't like to hear the truth up close.

    Of course....a week later, he was back on all platforms again!

    Do you have to make a new account though or just resurrect the old one?

    If it's the latter maybe I'm wrong and Sparks has been ill since September when we stopped being an active participant in most of our league matches.
