Don’t forget the bit about Rupp lending us 1.5 million to bale us out from Rahics errors, interest free unlike Lawns 9% per annum for his 1 million loan. Both Sparks and Roger Owen say he’s very committed to City but you know best Fordy.

Presume by the fact he is still our owner he has a modicum of commitment
The fact he has "lent us" 1.5 million interest free is an annomily he has loaned one of his struggling companies funds possibly to keep it afloat
The us you refer to pressumably the fans have next to no input into the club it's Mr Rupps train set lock stock and barrel
Remember Mr Rupp is our sole owner Mr Lawn was joint owner and his partner either wouldn't or couldn't match his investment in his shoes I would without complete control have wanted some return on my cash

He owns the club mate. He is going to put the 1.5 million to cover the debt. A debt he will get back.

Don’t care what Mr Soundbite says. He’s going to praise as he is lucky to get a CEO job at a football club.

As for Rodger he rarely says anything against the club.

Commitment is investing off the pitch. Attending games, Seeking investment if you can’t kick the club on yourself. Look. Rupp is the owner and can turn things around still but he hasn’t done anything Rhodes couldn’t.

Did that not get paid back when Swansea had Sheffield United’s pants down for McBurnie and we got £3m or whatever in a sell on fee?

I think for Fordy to feel that he is committed to the club Rupp would have to relinquish all his other business interests, business interests that made his wealth, move to England (probably move into Valley Parade), and throw his money into the bottomless pit that is English football.I
None of us actually know how deep Rupp's involvement in the club is and if some of us aren't prepared to believe anything Ryan Sparks tells us we will never know how strong his commitment is. Glass half empty syndrome.

That's reminded me of my plans for my two days off, after washing to car!

Utter nonsense as usual from you Fordy. Rhodes would have been in a terrible state with no cup runs since 2015 and a pandemic. As for your derogatory name for Sparks,he has so far done everything that you demand. He is about to bring in a successful manager from another club, he communicates with the public unlike Rhodes, he is getting the club moving in the right direction. I think you are just argumentative individual who will criticise anything and anyone at the club.

No, because he got the accounts from Rhodes and published an article on Width of a post that was published last year.

That's exactly the point Ulysses, none of us really know what he's actually put in or taken out (net). We all make assumptions and speculate on here.

Didn't the loan apparently cover that?

The latest set of accounts available for BCFC (on company checker) are for 2019. They don't appear to have filed for 2020 yet, so that is unlikely.

Interesting to note that Rahic resigned as a director on 4th December and Rupp was appointed on 22nd December (2018) so it looks like Rupp wasn't even a director of the company until after Rahic left.

Rupp was main investor when they bought the club in 2016, don’t think Rahic had the cash to buy Rhodes out. Rhodes released all the profit and loss accounts to Dewhirst last year and he published in Width of a post and that stated Rupp gave us a the loan interest free.

Very ethical. Releasing account details to a blogger when they haven't been given to HMRC
