Cool letter Ryan
Doesn't wash 2nd time around after Rahic
Proofs in the pudding get it sorted or resign
Not a penny more from me until I see some progress
Sincerely hope the protests still go ahead tomorrow
Surely this can't have fooled anyone

From reading it I think the first thing RS does next week is extend ST sales to the first week in May
Next will be to appoint a DOF who will answer to him (no chance of that)
Then hope things improve
No chance of anything changing

Don’t know what people want? Damed if you do damned if you don’t. The hatred for the club is beyond belief.
It’s a season to forget, everyone is disappointed. If you have followed City for many years there’s been more disappointment than pleasure. That’s football.
Suppose in life you can make a choice and choose to follow or not.
What gets me is you don’t have to drag everyone down with you.
It’s time to get the pitch forks out and burn effigies of those you don’t like.Est1969, Wakefield Bantam, shoatsy and 1 other person like this. -

Rupp has said he going to invest in a top 7 budget.
Boycotting STs just means it costs Stefan more.

Non league football ?????.
You do realise that we are 17th and teams in the form we are in tend to carry it into the next season.
Honestly the way your talking you would think Rupp and co weren't such bad people.
We where a team knocking on the door to the championship with 18k fans all happy
Years down the line we stand 17th a fan base completely pissed off and guess what ???,
Rupp has been at the heart of that carnage by allowing Rahic and now Sparks to damage all rhe hard work that was achieved from 2012 to 2017.
Still keep hoping they get it right ............ how many years now of failure ????Leeds Bantam, ahar964, Rhino66 and 1 other person like this. -

Dai Yongge, or in the past the Oyston’s.
From the information available, he is largely disinterested, and at the worse naive, negligent, and/or gullible!
He was conned into buying the club and even in his letter admits he would sell.
It will be interesting to see what this additional input into the playing side of the club, amounts to.Silverbantam, baggers, Rhino66 and 1 other person like this. -
Surely loosing money going forward is going to be more difficult to get a return on with that sort of financial management running a sustainable club adding bits here and there when needed, workout how much you've lost and what you could lose over several seasons and what sort of return you might get on it's sale.
I'd think the longer he keeps funding the club going forward without any success on the pitch will only add to his money problems with regards selling.Keefly Bantam, Jordan, Rhino66 and 1 other person like this. -

If we are to take this statement as face value ( I don’t by the way I think it’s bollocks)
He missed the whole point of why we are struggling, yes we need more budget to attract players who can play for this club (I have beens saying this for 6 years).
It’s our infrastructure that will hold us back:
Medical
Coaching staff
Trainning facilitates that are in operable from Nov - March
Poor pitch Nov - April
If these are not addressed it will be same results. We need a strategic plan to address those points. They’ve been neglected as much as anything else.Inspector, Stevay_b, Onside and 1 other person like this. -

Whilst most may appreciate that our owner has finally spoken up, and addressed the issues, from on-field performances, budget, ownership of the stadium, the ultimate turning point will be what action is taken from this
The understandable outrage from the statement isn't so much as to what was said, but the timing of it. It shouldn't of taken half a decade of League Two football to realise serious change is needed. It shouldn't have taken endless manager sackings, a relegation, years of fan unrest and wastefulness in the transfer market to realise we are an absolute basket case.
Ive gotten a bit tired of dwindling on the past, theres not much you can do to change what has already happened years ago. What can be done is lessons being learnt an action being taken. I don't think for a moment that Rupp is a terrible owner, I just believe hes very naive and lacks ambition, which is baffling considering hes a wealthy businessman.
He's realised the error of his ways. His immediate action should be to move Sparks away from the CEO role. I dont really care if it means pushing him onto the marketing side, its the one thing hes good at, but he cannot make any further football related decisions at this club
Bring a DoF in. A football man, not an accountant or a PR manager. Let him run the club in Rupp's stead. Get rid of Gent. Find a manager who plays attacking football and find a Head of Recruitment better suited to the task than Gent. And most importantly, make sure they are on the same page.
The irony in all of this is, Rupp does actually provide us a decent budget each season, but his inability to create a proper structure in the management of this club has allowed his investment to be pissed away time an time again, an its for that reason, the majority of blame lies upon his shoulders an it is now his responsibility to fix it, through whatever means neccessaryOnside, Kopendin1964, JonButterfield and 1 other person like this. -

Like I said a massive opportunity to freshen up the club.
My obvious worry about the appointment is the man tasked to do the hiring isn't exactly renowned for his success rate when making major decisions.Petrov, Dubois, Inspector and 1 other person like this. -

Sky released some more info on the new TV deal. EFL will have 10 games live per match window, 5 champ and 5 L1/L2. All L2 teams will have approximately 16 live games per season shown on Sky, so we'll probably have 1 in 3 shown on TV.Bronco, Hulmebantam, Storck and 1 other person like this.
