Why the feck are we hoofing it up at every given oppertunity ? We havent won a header all day an thats something thats not gonna change any time soon

 

If you’re looking at a lack of running, start with Hopeless Akpan

 

This could be 5/6 if we persist with long ball, the Southend defenders are wining every header and Doyle and Miller are getting more and more frustrated, no one on the bench to change things, maybe Colville for Akpan for a big lad he's got a small heart.

 

That's not a bad place to start either to be fair.

Far too many passengers.

 

When Akpan has no competition in midfield he appears to just go through the motions. When JOB arrived Akpan suddenly had to up his game. Massive disappointment. Doyle also making a token gesture this afternoon. Why the hoofball? We dont win any headers. Get it on the floor.

 

Come on Hopkin. Change it.

 

Doyle is absolutely woeful.
Kp starting over wood is baffling

It's Hopkin as well that takes some blame.

Why play Caddis in central midfield? Why play NKP at left back? Why continuously say Akpan is not fully fit yet start him in midfield?

Nowt to do with Rupp those. Those are Hopkins choices.

 

Everything about that third goal summed us up. The ball ends up back with the keeper from our own corner. Instead of playing a simple ball to an unmarked O’Brien he launches it long to Doyle who rarely wins headers. And then soft defending from a centre back gives them a gift

 

We're getting smashed 0-3.
Why no changes after 60 mins?

 

The players we have all been slating once again showing their true colours. They are just not good enough.

However changing the back four again is not helping anyone.

Play caddis rb , O’Connor and NKP and just change one of them if we lose somebody. Not this rubbish we have now. Moving a CB to left back, we then have to change two players. It’s baffling

 

Worst centre forward pairing I can remember.

 

Look at his options on the bench
Agree playing at least 2 players out of position
We badly need strengthening with the basics ie a defender a midfielder and a striker
or we will be down in all but matchematics by the 1st of Febuary

 

Hopkin is the messiah don’t you know.

 

For me, Wood should have started seen as how he's allegedly a left back.

Play the new lad in the middle. Akpan on the bench. Or Devine. God knows but why say Akpan isnt fit then start him?

We sign a player. He warms the bench.
