Maybe @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd or @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler might be able to shed some light on the Wembley fiasco.

Surely we should challenge any fine. Millwall were never fined at Wembley for far worse and there have been many other occasions when fans have jumped over advertising hoardings to celebrate with fans.

Another pathetic ruling similar to the removal of a shirt showing a respectable T-shirt underneath

@wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler was online when I initially tagged him. I was hoping he would explain his actions, but seems he was in stealth mode and reading the comments rather than caring to explain his OTT threats.

    Shame really

Running on the pitch can lead to afray and as we saw the other week a player being attacked. They know the rules and should stick to them

I think that this is an issue for the club as we descend to League 2. We have a group of delinquent 14-18 year olds who have attached themselves to the Club. They arrive boozed up and drugged up particularly at away games and intent on a ruck !. This is policeable at League 1 level but in League 2 some of the grounds and stewarding will be far from adequate. There will be an "attitude" that "we are too big" to be at places like Solihull or Forest Green or wherever and some fans won't be there for the football. I see trouble ahead in more ways than one for the club !

We’ll be okay if we let the officials from Saturday judge. Was the ball outside the area when he collected it from the keeper? Probably just a right toe between them both

It's the way football is run - one minute the 'agenda' for referees is the amount of time the keeper has the ball in hand. Forgotten now, never to be punished again. Then it's goalkeepers moving off their line on penalties - watch it like a hawk!! (for a few weeks).

But when it's fan encroachment, and the law is potentially involved, and fans face multi-year ban?

Yeah, not acceptable. You can't flip-flop on these issues.

And also good timing, Phil. City shouldn't need to remind supporters of the rules. Fans throughout England are more than happy to slag off the opposition players, at will - Yet IF a player responds, you can guarantee that said supporter will tell his tale of 'woe and anguish' to every media stream willing to listen.

We ALL know the rules, and they are not hard to conform to. It's the fans who defy them, then screech like petty adolescent school girls ("It wasn't just me, Sir" ........ boo, hoo !) who can only blame themselves.

Firstly I'm not bending over for anyone. If I was I would have suggested we would not respond to the FA charges and let them do their worst at which point you would probably be on here berating the Club for lack of action.
Second I am the last to stop people enjoying themselves but the Club and the FA also have rules and standards to be adhered to and in this case the Ref has seen that there is an incident which breaks those rules. Incidentally it was not all kids, there were adults, even with grey hair, believe me I have the DVD.
Finally, where does it end is the stance that has to be taken. The way I read your comment is that a small crossing onto the pitch is not a problem so if they crossed to the six yard line is it a problem? We can debate that a long time but we are where we are with our third FA charge in as many months and possibly worse to come over the Oxford incident.

You’ve taken the post completely out of context. My post referred to the fact that despite a limited number of stewards and no police at no point was there ever any danger in that incident, i know i was about 20 feet away. I get it, you have rules to adhere to. My whole correspondance to this post is the complete over reaction to what was an emotional moment, i’m sure your DVD will show you that. And yes, i was at the Rochdale game, and the incidents was as far apart as you could possibly get. Maybe to help, next time tell the players stay away from fans and tell the stewards to do their job.

Poir actions? They celebrated a goal with the players, it was a very emotionally charged atmosphere. It wasn’t Scotland fans breaking the goalposts at Wembley. I know rules state they shouldn’t have done it, but sod it. We’ve had bugger all to cheer this season.

Noted Rod. We know who we want to speak to (if they are at the Blackpool game). Sadly as we know from the past some don't heed warnings but we shall see.

Roger, I assume the stewards who were present will receive some sort of punishment too? After all they did very little to stop anyone in that situation, with two of them even turning their backs and standing well away.

i don't understand how grown men (mid 40's) can run on the pitch after your team scores "yay yay we scored.. yay, i'm going to run on the pitch and celebrate.. yay yay"

some people really need to grow up.. its embarrassing, kids i get.. but grown men.. nope.

As for the stewards, i think you will find most of the regular in-house have gone and its agency staff who now run the show.. think this was another one of Edins master plans.. after all he not only knows football.. he also knows security!
