They put him on a retained life, the EFL state you have to make your intentions know by the 3rd week in May.. so it sounds like the offered him the same deal he was already on.. i don’t know how that works in terms of negotiations whether it’s initially done by phone email or post.. but why would they post a contract out until negotiations are completed? Surely that would be done when the negotiations are completed?? Maybe that’s what she was referring to??

Anyway if you read her tweets today she’s clearly an emotional person and is bringing all sorts of irrelevant information up, so I wouldn’t trust what she says at 100% fact either

I’m not dissing anyone just explaining a scenario! Why does someone have to be at fault?? It’s a contract negotiation they couldn’t negotiate an acceptable deal so they go their separate ways.. it happens all the time in football

 

For many just a "name" means stardust and a sure thing, "Seedorf", "Man U", "Bayern Munich". Need some proven players sharpish or I am going to punt on the relegation odds.

The longer you hold off the worse the odds will get. On the morning Collins was announced the odds dropped from 10/1 ro 15/2. In total there had been about 100 bets on the whole relegation market at one betting firm. Of those over 30 were on City with over 25 between 7:30 and noon. It just shows how small the market is and how a small number of bets can change the odds hugely
