There is not a fùcking chance Edin is paying big wages. This is proven by the fact he's signing unproven, young players who will be coached mainly by unproven, young coaches. It's further backed up by moving as many of the big earners from the old regime as possible.

If he was paying big wages we'd be bringing in proven quality and he'd be demanding a promotion push.

What Edin says is not always what Edin does. How many times does this need to come to light before people take his rallying calls with a hùge pinch of salt?

I really hope we start well and these young lads hit the ground running because it could be a long old season if we don't.

 

I don't see the point in the owners strategy if we are giving game time to other clubs youngsters. Surely it would be more beneficial to have our own youngsters developing?

 

Never seen him play so don’t know if it’s a good signing - quick and direct is a good start, though.

 

He's hardly going to say anything negative is he?

 

I was told he was at the club and would be announced, but the lack of any announcement has me questioning it I must admit.

I prefer an end product.........................like a good cross, you know as well as I do pace means nothing without an end product.

I don’t mind us signing young inexperienced, hungry outfield players. But if we bring in an inexperienced keeper, then we’re in trouble.
That’s the one position that calls for experience, as we found out to our peril last season. Could turn out to be the most important signing we make imo.

 

It's simple really.

Zero to very few first team games means "unproven quality".

200 first team games in senior professional leagues would suggest "proven quality".

How is a six month loan deal beneficial to the owners strategy of young potential with a resale value? MacAnthony at Peterborough said they tend to stay away from loans for this very reason. I'm all for using loans but not at the expense of one of our young players being denied game time.

 

I was all for that before but the new strategy is to develop players to sell on for a profit. Our whole club now revolves around it. If it was say six month loan with view to a permanent transfer then i would be happy with that.

 

Know nothing of the lad but good luck to him.

I would like to see further signings attaining first team experience at football league level. I'm cool with youth but you have to strike a balance, within the squad, that will need utilizing over a season of 50+ games.

 

Do you honestly struggle with English? Is there another language you'd like me to post in?

In the meantime, see if you can explain to me (in your native tongue if you prefer) how you somehow came to the conclusion that the young lads we are signing are of "proven quality".

Still would like a more experienced winger.
