I've fought Robinsons corner for quite a while - And yes he's worth a punt up front. A few pre-season games will tell if the lad can cut it.

 

His first coaching session was how to make that statement! Looking forward to seeing him play, though.

 

@Park bantam. Why have you tagged me, as you have done? Have I questioned the policy of other clubs with regards to young players? I have my opinion, you have yours but my interaction with yourself was purely on Ryan McGowan.

I questioned you on McGowan, as you said been '' like a new signing''. I wanted and still do want to know (but you give generic replies) based on his one performance against Bury you have witnessed him, whilst unaware of Oldham and Charlton (as fair enough you was not there), why you have such a strong opinion.

I was told he was at the club and would be announced, but the lack of any announcement has me questioning it I must admit.

How is a six month loan deal beneficial to the owners strategy of young potential with a resale value? MacAnthony at Peterborough said they tend to stay away from loans for this very reason. I'm all for using loans but not at the expense of one of our young players being denied game time.

 

As I say I think Seedorf will take The right wing spot and Robinson on the left and Gibson who I don’t think is a winger can compete for attacking midfield. So I do t think Seedorf will hold anybody back

 

I’m happy for us to sign players on loan as long as they are better than we can sign permanently and make us better. Cullen, Burke, Reach etc

 

I prefer an end product.........................like a good cross, you know as well as I do pace means nothing without an end product.

 

Or Gibson and Seedorf on the wings and Robinson up front. Options.

 

I was all for that before but the new strategy is to develop players to sell on for a profit. Our whole club now revolves around it. If it was say six month loan with view to a permanent transfer then i would be happy with that.

 

Seems a half decent signing if he can take to first team football. Hopefully an improvement on Gillead

 

It's one loan signing so far, hardly excessive and hardly going to damage the development of our own.

I would like to see further signings attaining first team experience at football league level. I'm cool with youth but you have to strike a balance, within the squad, that will need utilizing over a season of 50+ games.

 

Well in my opinion Robinson crosses the ball well.
