Totally agree, I really hope that this rumour is wide of the mark as it would be a plain idiotic move by the owners. Removing the name of 2 club legends would further alienate the owners from the fans, it doesn't matter that the majority of fans don't use the suites.

If it's to do with sponsorship this could easily be accommodated without removing reference to Hendrie and McCall.

 

The odd bits I've seen posted on here maybe suggests he is awaiting the club to be honest about stuff he obviously doesn't think they are, he must be confident that what he says to Simon Parker will not be challenged or legal proceedings being taken or hes a silly man, that is assuming it is John Duckworth ?.

 

Not sure that woild be the case, if he's threatend an employment tribunial and the club have come to some kind of pay out rather than the case being made public knowledge that could be as far as it's gone, I agree with most managers I would think that is part of the deal. ?.

 

Maybe he is after custody of the washing powder and they are refusing access.... ..

 

This. I've never known so much rumour and make-believe surrounding the club. It is as grating, if not more grating, as the frustrations on the pitch or with the board. It's tedium in its purest form and thankfully there is a World Cup this summer so those who couldn't care less what happened with the kit man can switch off from it.

Couldn't agree more - seems that some people are intent on sowing discontent and trying their hardest to destabilize the club - to what ends, does it suit a certain person(s) to see the club in crisis (or making it look that way)?

 

But who will come out with the whitest whites with no lasting stains.

 

Maybe what some fans are posting is actually true, let's just ignore it and pretend everything is hunky dory at our club, all happy clappers together.
Nobody forces fellow posters to read it or believe it, the highlighted IMO is laughable @Campbell's soup why would any fan want to destabilise the club they have supported all their lives as in my case, and I'm sure the same with others.
There has always been posters who have either a personal connection with the club or maybe friends or relatives who work within our clubs enviroment who see/know things that are going on that might be detrimental to the club going forward should they not pass comment ?.

 

I'm not on about fans - i'm talking about employee's or ex employee's (or people purporting to be), claiming to have a story to tell. You're entitled to your opinion - personally i'm sick to death of shit being spouted about the club - it seems to be everywhere i look, Facebook, Twitter etc.

 

I think that's the point. There is that much hot air and nonsense out there at the moment that some find it much easier to switch off from it completely and wait for any official word rather than cherry pick the details from the rumours. There may be some nuggets of truth in it all but it simply comes across as petty playground chat.

Some might see that standpoint as "happy clappers" burying their head in the sand, when in fact its simply wanting to turn up and watch the football without hearing some half-baked story.

 

It will all come out in the wash....

 

Thats a BOLD statement , maybe the TIDE will turn and we can all take COMFORT in the clubs plan to move forward .

Maybe you shouldn't read them if they upset you so much (that's not having a pop at you) if stuff I read I believe are lies and conjecture I dismiss them, I don't do Twitter but listening to those who do on here say most of the stuff posted on there are made up accounts.

 

It's clear that someone upstairs has told all city employees not to engage with fans anymore via social media. That's 3 members of staff including Mason who have tweeted the same thing this morning.
