Very surprised nearly 14,000 are sold. Just goes to show how yorkshire folk are so forgiving.

Congratulations!! You’re obviously a much better fan than me and care much more than I do. I’m just one of those pesky plastics that pretends to be a supporter.

I took it straight from the T&A. Looks like they are printing fake news!

Exactly what I thought. It would be sheer lunacy to extend and not have some good news during the spell

I reckon it means Grayson is staying and the budget is 'competitive' etc

The Edin one has already happened. He couldn't have been more mute, if we'd taped his mouth since Grayson started - significantly only opening his beak to speak about McCall appearing on Sky and even then half fouled up!!

I agree there is more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding shergar down VP than Edin at the moment

You have to look at the bigger picture. If we've already sold 13-14K then it's feasible, with some good news, that it now could get to 17 or even 18K. There is less chance of that if you sell someone's seat

I empathise to a point, but surely it's far more important we try to get the place rocking and then if there's a manger like Grayson in charge and a reasonable budget - we have the best chance after Sunderland and Charlton (assuming they stay down) of attracting players

The latest figure I heard for season ticket sales was 13,400, and Stefan is not a happy bunny, hence the deadline being put back to June, just goes to show that a businessman realises there was nothing to be gained by raising the price, but maybe a couple of 1,000 more season ticket sales could be sold at £169.

Isn't that a bit like an Arsenal fan saying, well we only lost by one goal in the Europa Cup Semi Final and we nearly qualified for the Champions League.

The fact is that we are desperately trying to reach a figure of 75% of the tickets that were sold last season!

I'm sure pushing the deadline back will help sell more but no where near last seasons total, although with the structure being different the final total might not be as apart as we first thought.

The general opinion among most people this season was if we failed to go up sales would fall badly I thought we may reach 15000 and we still.might

A massive difference from last season @Bigrod@Bigrod we had just come off the back of a play off final, I believe most fans thought we would strengthen that squad rather than getting rid of our big wage earner (who also happened to be a big part of our defensive unit over the years) and bringing some players who were potential and hoped they would take up where the other players left off, always a big ask but we did well until the turn of the New Year and irrelevant of the rumours many fans were not happy with things that were said to be coming out of the club, or in some cases nothing coming out of the club.
I'd suggest 15,000 is a good total given whats gone on this season, but as I say with the sales being a different format we could finish with a situation where we are not far off last season total income ?.

I think last summer's ticket sales were inflated by some who thought we may be plying our trade in the Championship this season. If you remember when they went on sale the marketing strategy was that the price of £149 was for either league 1 or Championship football and at the time we were looking good for promotion.
Given what has happened since last summer I think a figure of 15000, if achieved, would be a very commendable figure
