Looks like there is a degree of confidence, at the Club, that there will be positive news coming out of the Club, over the next two months, that will encourage more people to renew/buy season tickets.

Definately a good move by the club as £199 is still great value despite this season, I've not renewed yet but will be doing before the deadline.

I’d agree that it possibly bodes well for future news coming out of the club however as it stands I’m still not intending to renew. I want to see Grayson kept on and backed to build his own team. Edin taking a back seat in football matters and general good vibes coming out of the club. If this happens then I may consider attending some games next season. Actions speak louder than words so let’s see what happens over the coming days first.

I do not want to have to scrutinise every interview and statements made to see what has been said. I am not gullible or naive, I just want to watch my team playing competitive football and chasing promotion. I just want them to lead this club in a professional manner, I don’t want upsets and chaos, just get on with taking this club upwards and onwards.

You haven't got a clue have you.
I'm moaning on here not Twitter.
Once again those who committed their hard earned cash get shafted by the club.
I have every intention of moving to a so called prime seat within the stadium and thought I had a great chance to secure one with 7,000 to choose from but once again the club have decided to reward stay away supporters.
I don't have have a problem with the ticket price freeze but the seats should be on a first come first served basis from May 8th as originally announced by the club.
Not happy at all with this latest development,I should have known never to trust anything they say down at VP.

The point I'm making isn't rocket science.
Seats should now be a free for all.
Why should those who had no intention of renewing before Tuesday be given the chance to keep their seat after such a long spell.
Like I said freeze the price but loose your precious seat and let those who committed be rewarded with a move that will suit them and their family and friends.

And this is why theories on how much revenue is likely down from season ticket sales are most likely inflated. Every season tixket not renewed does not equal £149.

You have to look at the bigger picture. If we've already sold 13-14K then it's feasible, with some good news, that it now could get to 17 or even 18K. There is less chance of that if you sell someone's seat

I empathise to a point, but surely it's far more important we try to get the place rocking and then if there's a manger like Grayson in charge and a reasonable budget - we have the best chance after Sunderland and Charlton (assuming they stay down) of attracting players

I think last summer's ticket sales were inflated by some who thought we may be plying our trade in the Championship this season. If you remember when they went on sale the marketing strategy was that the price of £149 was for either league 1 or Championship football and at the time we were looking good for promotion.
Given what has happened since last summer I think a figure of 15000, if achieved, would be a very commendable figure

So you believe that being a fan is only following the club when it’s winning This club will be here long after these owners have gone and it needs its supporters now

I wanted some minor moving of seats, but not bothered if it brings more money in, more important than my individual preference.

This could be a sign they have agreed a deal with Grayson and are going to push sales on the back of it

I do think early deadlines are poor. This season has been poor to say the least many have said they won’t renew . After a period of reflection some may change their mind. Others may be able to afford it later. Hardly anyone buys tickets at higher prices so it makes sense to keep it running much longer

I don't have an agenda against anyone on here I'm just letting off steam at yet another poor decision in my opinion.
Our club pampers year after year when it comes to season tickets.
Surely they knew they wouldn't sell as many given the tight deadlines involved and could have had better dates before the price increase.
When ever tickets are the main focus it appears our club have a track record of changing their original tack.
I might be in a minority but still have a voice.
