So? Go support your team in person. If you're calling fed up fans fairweather fans then you're either a lazy fan or a cowardly fan for not going to away games

Out of my group of 12 sitting in the kop, we've all had season tickets for the last 10-25 years depending on their age, all 12 will be renewing and travel to as many away games as we can get to.

We will see but all the people I know who follow this club will be renewing in my case despite what some people might say it’s not down to
Lack of ambition. The win at Wolves and at home to Liverpool were some of the best times of my life. But there isn’t anything that would stop me attending games whilst I am physically able to. It’s in my blood

I would reckon the club will go out to make Wembley in the EFL trophy and maximise this particular opportunity, whether that be a freeze in prices or increase.

Lots of people vent their frustration at results and you see them leaving their seats saying they aren’t coming back. And they are next game

Even when your lining the pockets of someone who couldnt give a shit
    about Bradford City ???????

Well it makes you better than me i suppose been going since 1987 seen my fair share of shit ..........adminstrations ............ the Simpson years when we had to sell to survive but in all that time from Hegginbotham to Lawn/ Rhodes we had folk who cared about the club, they made errors dont get me wrong but you knew deep down they cared can you say the same about Rupp ??????

FFS how many years did it take to suss out that complete bastard Rahic was destroying the club ??????

Still while good folk are making his life easier by putting your hand in your pocket to prop up the mess hes created then so be it.

Don't make out because fans do not have the same opinion as yourself you can come out with that sort of crap, I usually enjoy your posts and agree with the majority but come on mate that's no way to judge other fans.
Were all hurting with what's going on at our club if you feel you can't support the club with regards your above comment that's fine but as I posted in my case its precious time with my grandson I'm 76 next who knows how long I can treasure those moments at Villa, Wembley 3 times Arsenal and Sunderland at home and never forgetting that great late win against Leeds. I never had a son so missed out on so much, if he want to stop attending that could have an effect on me but I doubt it.

That’s a bit ott @AngryGaz@AngryGaz , I get that Park tends to see things through claret and amber glasses but as he says in the post you took exception to “But there isn’t anything that would stop me attending games whilst I am physically able to. It’s in my blood” . You might not agree with his views on Rupp et al but that final paragraph speaks volumes.

It's definitely not just fair weather fans. I've had a ST for around 40 years now and done around 80-85 different away grounds yet I'm seriously wobbling about renewing at the moment. I probably will if prices remain what I'd consider cheap but a significant price rise after yet another disappointing season would definitely make me think twice.

The club probably do need to increase prices but, as with everything with these things, timing is everything.

last season would have been the time to do it - Hughes had credit in the bank and we were in the playoffs. You can market the product easier when the current season is sort of on track (we should have gone up automatically but hey ho).

The only way I think the club can get away with a rise now - after a failed season on the pitch - is hiding behind the ‘cost of living’ excuse that a lot of other companies hid behind to justify price rises.

A lot of fans are feeling the pinch and it will be a genuinely tricky decision for many. I think the direct debit is a fantastic choice for people and as long as that is offered, I’ll renew our four. Behind GA and think he’s the right man, but hope he gets proper backing and the pawning soon stops.

Thats commendable but with all respect you are never going to be in the category of a floating voter. The club doesn't have to do anything to keep your support, its the ones feeling apathy toward the current regime that they need to worry about. This season they had the luxury of the last seasons playoff finish to dangle the carrot in front of the fans, next season i'm not so sure. I don't think the take up will suffer as much as some think, all depends on what happens till the end of the season. From my perspective, i am giving it serious thought as to whether to renew. And thats down to one reason, the lack of interest from the owner. If he miraculously decides to show an interest in the club then i will probably renew.

I agree with all of that. I struggle to understand how in a couple of months time, the club will be able to argue successfully that a price rise in tickets is justified at all. And the consequence of that in City's world of sustainabilty is that the playing budget probably won't even be maintained in real terms. That's certainly how it's been in recent years. That will of course align with Rupp's approach that he is happy for the club to tread water so long as he isn't required to dip into his own pockets.

I find it a little strange that Rupp apparently isn't seeking external investment which in my view would allow him to start the process of him relinquishing ownership. That would be one way of attracting additional investment (so long as the price is reasonable) and a way of helping to catch up with those clubs whose budgets are already almost 50% more than our own. And that is before any belt tightening is necessary to offset the impact of reduced ST sales.

Here's an idea for the club. Increase all STs by say £50 and put all of the extra into the playing budget! What? Am I mad? Only slightly. But make the important point is to make it a conditional offer based on getting promoted. If we don't get promoted, return all of the £50s to the fans. The risk of not getting promoted and having to repay the £50s to the fans rests with club. If we can achieve promotion, we all win. We fans get what we've been wanting for 6 years .. promotion; Rupp gets a Div 1 club to sell rather than a Div 2 one; Alexander's cv looks better for his next job and Sparks can take all of the plaudits and claim all of the benefits from his leadership!

Would it ever happen? Maybe not but it's a better strategy than our current one.

You're alarm clock not gone off yet @Dennis@Dennis :zzz::zzz:
Could you imagine Rupp authorising 12k £50 refunds :eek::eek:
Any strategy is better than the non existent strategy we have now

sounds fantastic, but if we didn’t get promoted wouldn’t that leave the club well short of money? Rupp would need to put in the extra?

Good idea with the £50 but in all honesty would you trust that lot to spend the extra money right ?????

As for a increase i can guarantee that the majority on here would go for it with the right structure, but when that structure is wasting hundreds of thousands a pounds a year it actually may be pushing up to a million then your simply not gonna do it .
