Colchester are on their 3rd permanent manager this season, not sure they should be held up as the shining light of how to run a football club. The Cowley boys are just passing through using Colchester as a stepping stone to a bigger club and it’s close to where they live. They’ll have left within a year.

I'd pay it but only if the people in charge of the club were trustworthy football people. A lot will moan but its the going rate. The club would still offer the pay monthly option and 30 quid or so a month isn't too bad. There will always be someone who says they can't afford it but should this club be held back because of it? No

Agreed folk would pay £300 if they could see some kind if vision going forward ..............but who in there right mind is gonna pay £300 to line the pockets of an uncaring Twit pay £300 to see our amazing recruitment team piss up another half decent budget on over the hill players or playes that didnt cut it at Hartlepool.

This window now should be used to at least get something ready to go again next season it should be used to build for next term but it wont ............we all know whats coming our way and i aint gonna fork good money to waste my time on twats who clearly aint got a clue what there doing.

FFS i bet Sparkes and Gent are even lording it on the money they have made on Lewis and possibly Young rather than the dross they have help create...................still its down to you lot if ypu wanba keep lining the pockets of Rupp then so be it but i fooking aint anymore

Not yet, I won't be putting any more money in to the club until Rupp and Sparks are gone now. Enough is enough

not gonna bother next season if things dont change soon. Had a season ticket but havent been to half the games. I see no motivation in going when im gonna be freezing my bollocks off, watching shit football, produced by shit players and orchastrated by a dinosaur manager

    Well there you have it.

0 % chance I'd pay significantly more under Rupp.

    Absolutely no way.

More importantly, how would they spin the sales patter sound bites if they put the price up?

They’ve constantly failed to back up all their shit slogans over the last few years.
Another one will just be laughed at and treated with the contempt it deserves.

    Yeah, I've no idea.

In fact, even a £5 increase might be a good excuse to not renew.

They need to reduce the price if anything lol

You're right, the price of our season tickets are far too low except when you think of value. I'd pay a grand a season to watch us play good stuff and be mixing it with championship teams. But right now I think 2 quid a match for this shower of sh1te is too much. I've missed 3 games this season travelling from Wooler in Northumberland and its just not worth losing a day of my weekend, sometimes both.

Let's see what March brings and how the club go about enticing us fans (yes I know they may churn out the same old lines) although some recon their minds are made up already, I'll be renewing if for nothing more than me and my grandson sharing precious time together.

I wouldn't pay it. I already pay for 4 and 3 of them will be adult tickets next year so I think I'd just save the money and just do the localish away games now and again instead. If we were doing well I would then probably pay on the day for the odd home game but certainly not if it's another mid table season like this one.

Out of our group of 6 that have gone for years, only 2 have said they'll definitely renew next season. 3 are a hugely regretful no and the other is undecided.

Surely they need to increase prices if so many fair weather fans are not renewing!

I think your right. I have been a big fan of affordable football of which this club takes a lot of credit. But with what will be a big fall of with the less uncommitted supporters there will be a hardcore support of fans who will pay whatever. And if the club does well they will coin it in with walk ups

The club get no financial benefit from going to away matches unless you pay for iFollow.

I don't suppose it really matters what they do.

The club have lost whatever connection they had with the fans under this disinterested, distant and corporate regime.
