Sam Walker (GK) Signs

I’m assuming this season’s goal is to finish mid-table and rebuild again in the summer. lewis going for money, Young likely and potentially Stubbs or Platt. If we don’t bring anyone in for a few it’s pretty embarrassing and let’s keep an eye on if Rupp gets a new motor.
When are the next accounts outs? Out of curiosity

 

So Walker 2 FA cup games one win one draw against Lee valley paper mills first round, benched for second round, they lost to Gillingham.
One Papa Johns Bristol street LDV trophy i have lost track game. not sure which game he played in they won 2 lost one and drew 1 scored11 conceded 7 , 4 in one game to the magnificent Crawley.
Not much game time, but who knows , he might turn out to be just fine for us.

 

Yeah he signed for Charlton as temporary back up, I'm guessing a keeper was injured.

 

Looks like a good shot stopper and gets down well to the low stuff for a big lad.

Doyle done ok in these games, we might bring another keeper in as yet, would not bet my shirt on it though.

 

He's impressed with the facilities, Fordy will be having a fit, actually where is he, not noticed him on here for a while

 

Has everyone forgotten that when Colin Doyle first joined us aged 30, he had a massive 82 league games under his belt. Sam Walker has played 355!

 

I imagine he is on the blower to the marketing dept securing sponsorship for Walker.

 

If true then this looks like a player we have been tracking for a while.

There is no reason why he cant do well its only L2 after all, wish him well.
